Do you already own a photo camera and would like to create impressive pictures of the night sky with the help of the long exposure or even make time-lapse pictures with little effort ? The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical PhotoMount PM-100 is the ideal base. Not only for beginners in astrophotography, this mount is particularly well suited, but also the experts swear by a compact and easy-to-use mount to automatically compensate for the natural rotation of the earth. The built-in tracking motor rotates the saddle-mounted camera precisely against the earth's rotation and thus the stars remain in pinpoint shape even with long exposures. If you already own a sturdy photo tripod with a video tilt head you can use the photo mount's head directly with the 1/4 inch & 3/8 inch photo thread holes. The pole height (latitude) is then adjusted by the video tilt head. The photo-mount with tripod with carry-case and polar wedge are also available as a bundle - Product No.: 4964120 Which cameras are basically suitable for use with the BRESSER photo mount ?
All cameras with ¼ inch (6.3mm) tripod connection thread and bulb length" B "for long exposure are suitable.
The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100 is designed for a camera with lens of max. 2.0 kg total weight to carry and track in polar mode. In Azimut mode also a camera weight up to 5.0kg is possible. Large aperture, wide-angle lenses are ideal for the beginning, because the requirements for tracking accuracy accumulate with increasing focal length and exposure time. Thus, a shot with wide-angle lens can be exposed for up to several minutes and the stars remain punctiform without problems. For example, with a 200mm telephoto lens the polar alignment of the photo mount must be exactly right. But thanks to the integrated pole finder tunnel, this is done quickly.
After setting up the light and compact StarTracker Photo Mount, simply set the approximate latitude (pole height) and aim Polaris through the integrated pole finder tunnel. Then mount the camera with the photo lens using the quick-release plate on the supplied ball head. With the ball head, the camera can be aligned and determined at any time on any section of the sky. As soon as the tracking motor is switched on, long-time exposure can be started immediately. This does not even take 5 minutes ... The tracking is carried out by a precise stepper motor, which can be controlled by an easy digital setup on LCD screen. Low power consumption allows up to 20 hours of operation with just one battery charge or simply use the micro USB port for an unlimited power supply. Enter the world of astrophotography now. With the new BRESSER HD moon and planet camera with ST4 autoguider function.
This camera is very good for astrophotography with short exposure times, i.e. for celestial objects like the moon, planets or star clusters. For astrophotography with long exposure times for low light deep sky objects, like galaxies and gas nebulae, we recommend the BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera (Art. No. 4959050) instead, with it's even higher resolution and sensor sensitivity.
Equipped with the new high-sensitivity SONY IMX225 CMOS colour sensor, the BRESSER HD moon and planet camera delivers amazing image results with very short exposure times, even with simple telescope equipment. In addition, this ultra-modern camera can also be used as an autoguider, e.g. to actively track the main imaging device with SLR or CCD astro camera. A universal CMOS colour camera that delivers super-sharp lunar and planetary images in particular.
The particularly low noise level of this new chip generation from SONY, ensures an exceptionally high brilliance and no cooling is required. Due to the high native pixel resolution of 1280x980, together with suitable telescopes, very beautiful images of the moon, but also detailed planetary images are possible.
The ToupSky pro software included in the scope of delivery not only offers the necessary basic functions for image and video recording, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and for setting up the Guider. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image capture, stacking, timelapse recordings and much more can be individually configured. Especially the very sophisticated software makes it really easy for you to get started in astrophotography. With the automatic settings, you can produce absolutely presentable results without much prior knowledge. If you wish, simply switch off the automatic settings and gradually venture into the individual professional settings.
Connect the camera directly to the ST4 connector of your telescope mount and you have fully automatic tracking control. This makes long exposures of several minutes possible without the stars producing unwanted line marks due to the ever-present synchronisation fluctuations of a telescope mount. A corresponding ST-4 connection cable is even included with the camera. Due to the high light sensitivity of the camera, you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times. For connection to guide tubes or off-axis guiders, the camera has a 1.25" plug-in sleeve, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) and C-mount thread (1 "x1/32").
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10 / 11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding.
The autoguider software is not included. You can use PHD2 Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (paid).

Set of 5 extension tubes with T2 thread on both sides for exact distances and secure hold of cameras for astrophotography. Also comes with SC to T2 thread adapter. In astrophotography, most cameras are connected to a telescope via a T2 thread (M42x0.75), the most popular international standard. However, in many cases, T2 and T2-ring adapters for connecting telescope focusers to a camera are not sufficient, as specific distances must also be observed. This is especially important when using correctors, reducers or flatteners. This extension tube set, which consists of 5 mm, 7.5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm and 30 mm tubes, will allow you to obtain almost any distance using the corresponding combination. Each tube has a T2 interior thread on one side and a T2 exterior thread on the other side. Most telescopes either include a T2 thread adapter, or the eyepiece can be used with a simple T2 thread adapter with a 2 plug-in diameter (item no. 0510365).However, Maksutov-Cassegrain, Schmidt-Cassegrain, ACF or RitcheyChrétien telescopes may use a so-called SC thread. To allow you to use this extension tube set with these telescopes, the set also includes an SD to T2 thread adapter.FEATURES5 T2 tubes with lengths from 5 mm to 30 mmCombination of tubes allows you to obtain distances of 5 mm to 67.5 mmFor exact camera distances in astrophotographyDELIVERY CONTENT5x T2 extension tubes (5/7.5/10/15/30 mm)1x SC to T2 thread adapter

Field flattener without reduction factor for Explore Scientific ED80 , ED102 and ED127 APO Refractors
The imaging plane of many telescopes is not flat but curved. This means that only the area in the centre is perfectly focused - the edge becomes blurred. The human eye can usually compensate for this image property, but a camera shows increasing blurriness towards the edge of the image field. The Explore Scientific Zero X field flattener eliminates the field curvature in many telescopes with a focal length of approx. 480 to 952 mm. The Zero X field flattener was calculated and developed for Explore Scientific ED80, ED102 and ED127 apochromats with focal ratios of F=6.0 and F=7.5. The image sharpness at the edge is dramatically increased. The stars appear round and no longer distorted - a clear benefit for the whole image aesthetics. The Zero X image flattener can be used not only with Explore Scientific Apos, but also with many other Apos. This flattener does not change the focal length of the telescope.
Correction for up to full-frame camera sensors (24x36mm)
The Explore Scientific Zero X image flattener has been developed due to the rapid development of ever larger camera sensors. With it, there is finally a field flattener available that illuminates and corrects the field of view for full-frame camera sensors up to 24x36 mm.
How to use the Zero X field flattener with M48 thread connection
This field flattener has a 2 inch (50.8 mm) plug-in connection on the telescope side, with which it is inserted into the telescope instead of an eyepiece or star diagonal mirror. On the camera side, there is a standardised M48 x 0.75 mm connection thread. This M48 connection thread offers a larger free inner diameter than the usual T2 (M42) thread and prevents vignetting when using large camera sensors. With an optionally available and camera-specific adapter ring, a DSLR camera can be connected to it. The working distance is already set at 55 mm. Of course, mirrorless cameras or special astro cameras can also be used with the M48 thread connection. For this, the appropriate M48 spacer sleeves or adapters are additionally required to set the right working distance of 55 mm. This must always be done with every corrector or field flattener so that the best possible field flattening is achieved.Filter thread on telescope side availableThe telescope-side 2.0 inch plug-in sleeve has an M48x0.75 filter thread (internal thread). Individual 2.0 inch colour or nebula filters can be inserted here to increase the contrast of the images.FEATURESField flattener for Explore Scientific ED80, ED102 and ED127 APO telescopesRemoves field curvature from telescopesProduces round stars even at the edge of the image fieldImage sharpness at the edge is drastically increasedA clear benefit for the whole image aestheticsCorrection of field curvature for up to full-frame camera sensors (24x36 mm)Image field flattener without reduction factorOn the telescope side with 2 inch (50.8 mm) plug-in connection and M48x0.75mm filter threadCamera side with large M48 threaded connectorWorking distance of 55 mm between field flattener and camera sensorFor telescopes with a focal length of approx. 480 to 952 mmOptimised for telescopes with focal ratios from F=6.0 to F=7.5Can also be used for various other APOsFully multi-coating on all lens surfacesHousing made of lightweight aluminium, black anodisedAluminium dust cap for M48 threadSCOPE OF DELIVERYZero X field flattener (1 piece)Dust caps
BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera with autoguider: a great camera for different types of astrophotography and for autoguiding. Not only suitable for planets, but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Dedicated ToupSky Astro Imaging software supports video preview, video recording, video processing, image capture and processing, dark field correction and raw data output. Easy to use, but with professional results.
One of the main features of the new backlit SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, which makes it possible to detect deep-sky objects without active cooling. SONY has increased the quantum efficiency at 533 nm wavelength up to 77%, which is much better than other CMOS sensors have been able to achieve in the past.
Connect this camera to a guidescope and attach the camera's built-in ST-4 port, directly to your telescope's equatorial mount guide port and autoguide - using many popular audioguiding programs (PHD, Guidedog and more). Autoguiding enables you to take accurate pictures with long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. Simple automatic tracking at its best.
You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes, or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25 " tube, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or C-mount adapter thread (1 "x1 /32").

The Vixen POLARIE is a new camera accessory, that enables you to capture sharp, point-like images of the stars. It has been developed to track the stars and to compensate for the movement of the earth. POLARIE enables you to take atmospheric shots of landscapes and the night sky and can also capture these in sharp images. Extremely simple and compact design for use in every location on earth.
If you have ever viewed a romantic, starry sky, you will surely have felt the desire to capture it on film. But if you have tried to do this, you will know that it’s really not all that easy. This is because you need to have multiple exposures of several minutes if you want to photograph the stars. As our earth is always turning on its axis, the stars keep moving as time passes and become long strokes on photographs. Today’s digital technology gives us the option of obtaining shorter exposure times by increasing the sensitivity of the sensor, but, unfortunately, this dramatically increases picture noise and the picture becomes very noisy and ugly. This makes it impossible to take beautiful images of the night sky. For this reason, the Vixen company has developed the Polarie Star Tracker, which eliminates the problem of star migration. When you attach your camera to the Polarie, the device will track in the opposite direction of earth’s rotation and this allows for sharp, point-like images of the starry sky even when using long exposure times.
POLARIE is a new and unique camera accessory for photographing the night sky, with perfectly point-like stars being tracked. Using the simplest solution, it makes the experience of photographing the night sky more accessible for everyone. The multi-functional mode dial is adjustable for sky- and landscape-, moon-, sun- and star-tracking. Polar altimeter for a fast focus. Also included: USB connection for external power supply and a built-in compass for quick orientation. Available as optional extra accessories are a polar finder telescope for exact alignment with the celestial pole for long-exposure photography including into the telephoto range, and a tripod.

The Vixen focal adapter can be used to connect your DSLR camera to your telescope via a 60-mm thread. The large internal diameter of the adapter prevents shadows at the edges of the image when using a full-frame DSLR camera. The focal adapter can also be rotated to rotate the field of view selection. Three locking screws are provided for clamping.Note: Vixen T2 ring also required for your Canon. In this case, the inner ring is removed from the T2 adapter and clamped using three small grub screws.FEATURES60-mm connection thread for OAZWeight: 56 gT-ring for Canon EOS also requiredPACKAGE CONTENTSVixen focal adapter for Canon EOS
You need this Vixen polar finder set for the POLARIE U Star Tracker in order to be able to align the POLARIE U exactly to the celestial pole. This is very important for longer focal lengths and exposure times, in order to obtain point-like star images. The polar finder enables polar alignment with an accuracy of 3 arc minutes . The polar alignment is very simple: You only have to bring the Pole Star and two other stars into the field of view of the polar finder and rotate them with the stars so that they are congruent with the reticule shown in the polar finder. No further calculation is needed - no time and date to set, just match the reticule to the polar stars and get imaging. The polar finder PF-L II has red, dimmable lighting that switches itself off after a few minutes in order to save the batteries.PROPERTIES5 x 20 viewfinder with 10 ° field of view3 star positioningNorthern skies: Polaris, Delta UMI, 51 CepSouthern skies: Chi Octantis, Tau Octantis, Sigma OctantisDimmable, red lighting in 8 levelsWHAT'S INCLUDEDPole finder PF-L IIMounting armCR 2032 battery
High resolution deep sky camera with large Panasonic CMOS sensor and active cooling. Enter the world of astrophotography now. With the new EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC DEEP SKY ASTRO camera you get a modern complete package for the comfortable shooting of astro photos and videos. Finally, an easy-to-use camera for capturing galaxies, star clusters, the moon and even planets with high resolution and low sensor noise. Thanks to the fast USB 3.0 computer interface, all image data is transferred within a few seconds. Long waiting times are now history. Simply connect the camera to your telescope using the T2 female thread (M42.0.75mm) or the supplied 2" (50.8mm) plug-in adapter and after installing the drivers and the included EXPLORE Capture recording and editing software, you are ready to take the first real astro photos with a highly specialized camera for your application. The EXPLORE Capture Pro software included in delivery not only offers the basic functions required for image and video capture, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and camera setup. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image print, stacking, timelapse recording and much more can be configured individually. Especially the very sophisticated software makes your entry into astrophotography really easy. With the automatic settings you can produce absolutely presentable results without any previous knowledge. If you like, simply switch off the automatic settings and gradually dare to adjust the individual professional settings. The new EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC DEEP SKY camera has a highly sensitive and very low-noise Panasonic CMOS sensor which is additionally cooled down to 40°C below ambient temperature by the two-stage thermoelectric cooling. In contrast to normal DSLR cameras, this guarantees much lower noise and fewer hot pixels in your shots. The images are not only much sharper and more brilliant, but also contain more usable image information. Through the controlled setting of the desired camera temperature, the creation of dark frames under reproducible shooting conditions is possible at any time. The large-format CMOS sensor with 21.9mm diagonal also allows large image fields and simplifies the adjustment and centering of objects considerably. The camera has a built-in USB hub with 2 x USB2.0 ports at the rear. Connect your additional autoguider camera or motor focus etc. via a short USB cable and reduce the risk of cable spaghetti and cable breaks. Separate cable connections between your accessories and your computer are no longer necessary. A sturdy hard case for the camera plus accessories is also included. IMPORTANT NOTES: Don't get confused by the megapixel data and the contrary price structure. In the field of astronomy, the key criterion is not the sensor resolution but the maximum light sensitivity. The main goal is to capture as much light as possible in a short time.DOWNLOAD latest camera software and drivers see download folder "Manuals" or here: http://www.touptek.com/download/showdownload.php?lang=en&id=2

The image plane of many telescopes is not plane, but curved. This results in a picture that has its optimal focus only in the center of the field of view - the edge of the field is out of focus and thus unsharp. The human eye is able to accomodate most of this but a camera will show stars that get increasingly unsharp towards the edge of the field. The Explore Scientific Multi Purpose Curvature Corrector eliminates field curvature in a variety of telescopes - Explore Scientific Apos and many other refractors and cassegrain telescopes. This increases the edge sharpness in the image drastically. Improves edge sharpness not only with Explore Scientific Apos, but also with many other refractor and cassegrain telescopes. This image field leveller fits all Nikon DSLR cameras, but can also be used for other camera types due to the universal T2 thread connection. This requires an optional camera-specific T2 ring.
