Explore Scientific 82° Series™ extreme wide field eyepieces are optimized to produce high contrast, high resolution, and superior flat field characteristics. The visual effect of these eyepieces with their long eye-relief and their 82° apparent field is truly a full-immersion experience. Your eye is relaxed, allowing you to easily use the "averted vision" technique to study faint details across a huge field-of-view. The ASTRO R-LITE red light flashlight is the ideal companion at night to read star charts or make adjustments to the equipment without losing the dark adaptation of the eyes. How long does it take to charge a battery?Most modern devices with built-in batteries indicate the current charging status of the battery on a display or status LEDs. The charging process is also automatically terminated by the internal charger of the smartphone or tablet, etc., as soon as the battery is full.Nevertheless, it is helpful to know how long a full charge theoretically takes with an empty battery. This is the only way to choose the right solar panel model for the requirements of the devices you want to charge.Here is a short calculation: Divide the capacity of the battery (mAh) by the charging current of the charger (mA) and multiply this by a factor of 75. A new focal length joins the Explore Scientific line of inert gas-purged Waterproof Eyepieces with the 3mm 52° LER Series Eyepiece. A logical companion for the grab-and-go ED APO 80mm f/6 Air-Spaced Triplet, this eyepiece produces 160X which will perform very well with good seeing conditions on planetary objects, and to split double stars. Watching the Moon surface through the filter, the contrasts will enormously increase. Same with planet Mars. On the huge planet Jupiter, when using the filter, you can even see the contrasts between the cloud-bands and a lot more details.
