Product information "LUNT LS80MTBP&F Conversion Kit for LS80MT"
​The LS80MT solar telescopes can be upgraded with this optional conversion kit. This allows the telescopes to be used as 2-lens ED apochromatic refractor for observation and photography of the starry night sky.

The H-Alpha system of the LS80MT telescopes can be easily replaced by this conversion kit. The conversion kit offers a high quality and solid R&P focuser. Even the heaviest cameras or other accessories will be hold without any problems and can be focused sensitively by the integrated 10:1 reduction.

Simply loosen three knurled screws holding the H-Alpha unit including the focuser at the LS80MT. Attach here the new focuser, and your LS80MT is transformed into a 2-lens apochromatic telescope. The new focuser offers 85mm focusing way with backlash- and tilt-free mechanics also when using heavy accessories. A 2 inch clamp is directly at the focuser, and an adapter to 1.25 inch is included in delivery.

But this is not all: With this conversion kit Herschel-wedges or Ca-K modules can be used at the LS80MT telescopes for solar observation. This makes it possible to observe the sun in H-alpha, in Calcium-K wavelength light, or in White-Light - with one and the same telescope!

BRESSER Diagonal Mirror 2" with 93% reflection
A very good diagonal mirror for telescopes with 2" focuser and for the BRESSER Messier telescopes with a 2.5"- HEX focuser. Enables the use of eyepieces and accessories with 2" barrel, so that a wider field of view can be reached. A larger light beam and a comfortable observation position is achieved by this 2 inch zenith mirror. Especially for use with refractors and for zenith observations a useful accessory.  The clamping ring is made of brass, so there will be no scratch marks on your high-quality eyepiece. The precise clamping is another advantage. The BRESSER 2" Diagonal Mirror is completely made of metal and has a very accurate flat mirror. Herschel-wedge / Solar-wedge for superior White-Light solar observing and imaging. For refractor-telescopes up to 150mm aperture, and with 2'' focuser. Complete system with installed ND3.0 filter.Herschel-Wedges will be used to observe the sun in White-Light. Around 95 % of the sun light will be suppressed by the Herschel Wedge. The remaining sun light will be dimmed by a fix installed ND3.0 grey filter. Lunt Solar Systems Herschel-wedges are installed in a fully closed housing with integrated heat trap. There is no stray light escaping, therefore it is very safe.The difference between Herschel-wedges and normal front mounted filters is, that the filtering takes place just before the eyepiece or camera. This will provide a better contrast and sharpness of the solar image.Furthermore, there is more safety at a Herschel-wedge than at a front mounted filter. A Herschel-wedge can not rip or become holes like a foil. This complete system comes with installed ND3.0 filter.Herschel Wedges are used to observe the sun in White Light. Around 95% of the Sun's light is suppressed by the wedge's ceramic prism. ​Field-flattener and focal length reducer for deep-sky astrophotography. Designed for the multipurpose APO telescopes of the Lunt-Solar-Systems LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT series.At the telescopes of the MT series from Lunt Solar Systems, the H-Alpha filter unit for solar observation can be removed, then these telescopes can be used as high quality ED APO's for observing and photographing the night sky.This accessory for the LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT telescopes shortens the focal length by a factor of 0.8x, providing a larger field of view for deep-sky astrophotography. This also allows shorter exposure times. At the same time, the field of view is flattened for photography.On the camera side, the reducer/field-flattener has a T2 male thread (M42x0.75). LUNT Blue-Glass 20mm for B400 to B1800 blocking-filters
​Spare part for blocking-filters from LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS, suitable for B400, B500, B600, B1200 and B1800 blocking-filters.The H-alpha telescopes and filter systems from Lunt Solar Systems each include a blocking-filter. The blocking-filters have a blue colored filter part on the side facing the telescope. This blue colored filter parts may become a milky white layer at older blocking-filters if the blocking-filter was storded at high air humidity for some time. Please always store H-alpha telescopes and filters as dry as possible. If this blue colored filter part has become a milky white layer, it can be replaced with this spare part. The replacement is easy and can be done by the user himself. Installation instructions can be found here under the "Manuals" tab as a PDF for download.Please note that this replacement part can only be used on Lunt Solar Systems blocking-filters B400 to B1800. BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount Kit
Do you already own a photo camera and would like to create impressive pictures of the night sky with the help of the long exposure or even make time-lapse pictures with little effort? The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount Kit is the ideal base. Not only for beginners in astrophotography, this mount is particularly well suited, but also the experts swear by a compact and easy-to-use mount to automatically compensate for the natural rotation of the earth. The built-in tracking motor rotates the saddle-mounted camera precisely against the earth's rotation and thus the stars remain in pinpoint shape even with long exposures. This set contains all the components required for a quick and comfortable entry into the world of astrophotography with the exception of a camera and objective lens: A stable BRESSER tripod TP-100 DX with carrying bag, the BRESSER Micro Motion Head MH-100 (polar-wedge), the BRESSER Polar Finder Scope for StarTracker PM-100 and of course the BRESSER StarTracker astrophoto mount PM-100 with ball head.Which cameras are basically suitable for use with the BRESSER photo mount? All cameras with 1/4'' (6.3mm) tripod connection thread and bulb length B for long exposure are suitable.
