BRESSER Quasar 80/900 EQ Refractor Telescope with Smartphone Camera Adapter
Take a closer look at the wonders of the universe. This complete telescope set for beginners contains everything you need for your new hobby: a refractor telescope with 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length, an equatorial mount, a tripod and a wide range of accessories for astronomical observations. The system is very easy to handle and can even be used by children. Simply unpack, set up and get started – you will be amazed at what you will discover! Easy start with user-friendly classic – the telescope The astronomical telescope is a traditional lens telescope, a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor. The advantage of this established telescope type: even beginners and children find it easy to operate. In addition, the BRESSER Quasar scores points for its modern, precisely coated optics with good imaging properties. A direct comparison shows: With its 80 mm aperture, this telescope already collects 30 % more light than a 70 mm telescope and the resolving power is better as well. This means that you can already marvel at some of the details on Mars through the Quasar. In addition, 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length mean a large focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 11.3 (F/11.3). The result: a very sharp image with good contrast. Due to its long focal length the entry-level telescope is a specialist when it comes to observing the moon, sun, planets, open star clusters and globular clusters. But you can also take a look at many gas nebulae through this telescope, such as the famous Orion Nebula M42 or the Ring Nebula M57. How big will you see the fascinating celestial bodies? The 80 mm aperture achieves a resolving power that easily allows magnifications of up to about 160x with really sharp images. Technically, much more is possible, theoretically up to 675x using the included accessories. However, with increasing magnification, the sharpness of the image can slowly decrease. In addition to the equipment, the conditions play a role as well: the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also determines how much you are able to magnify. Sturdy base for your easy astro-beginning – mount and tripod Found the perfect spot for your nocturnal explorations? Then install the telescope effortlessly on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod using the equatorial mount. The advantage of this type of mount: unlike the azimuthal models, you compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies along just one axis instead of two. To do this, you align one axis parallel to the Earth's axis, which is called "alignment". This is easily done by pointing it approximately to Polaris. The beginner's telescope also comes with two flexible shafts with a fine adjustment, which simplify the movement of the axes. They make adjusting and tracking very precise and comfortable. Handy storage: On a plate between the tripod legs, you can store your accessories within easy reach.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable! The complete package for your sky observations – the accessories The extensive astronomy accessories including a safe solar filter enable you to immediately direct your gaze through the lens telescope to the sky – day and night. When observing at night, the LED viewfinder helps you find your way around: just install it parallel on the telescope, adjust it and use it to align and locate celestial objects. When you look through it, the red dot projected onto a ground-glass screen inside appears to hover in front of the sky. It shows you the spot to which the tube is pointing. This allows you to navigate easily before taking a closer look with the telescope's high magnification. Different perspectives of your astronomical discoveries are made possible by the two eyepieces, which enable different magnifications. With their sockets, which have a standard diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm), they are simply inserted into the telescope's focuser. You want to see even more details? Then triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x barlow lens. Always comfortable while observing the stars – for this purpose the 90-degree star diagonal mirror is included. That way you always enjoy a pleasant view into the telescope. Even if it is pointed upwards into the sky, you can comfortably look in from the side. Discover the beauty of our own star: Using the telescope in combination with the solar filter you can safely observe sunspots and granulation on the sun. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the sun without the solar filter! Have you always been fascinated by astrophotography? Then your smartphone camera and the smartphone adapter will get you started. This way you'll quickly enjoy your first own photos e. g. of the moon or the sun. FEATURES Beginner’s lens telescope with 80 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length Fraunhofer achromatic refractor Ideal for observing the sun, moon, planets and star clusters Height-adjustable tripod with equatorial EQ3 mount Precise adjustment through flexible shafts and fine adjustment in both axes Easy to use, very suitable for beginners and children Focal ratio F/11.3, thus very sharp image and high contrast 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) focuser Two eyepieces and a barlow lens with 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) sockets for different magnifications Safe solar observation with the included solar filter First steps in astrophotography with smartphone camera adapter SCOPE OF DELIVERY Beginner’s telescope Aluminium tripod Equatorial EQ3 mount Eyepieces: 4 mm und 20 mm (1.25 inch sockets) Barlow lens 3x (1.25 inch socket) Star diagonal mirror LED illuminated dot finder Solar filter Smartphone camera adapter Accessory tray Astronomy software download Instruction manual

BRESSER Taurus 90/900 MPM Refractor Telescope with smartphone adapter & solar filter
Set up, look through, be amazed: with the RESSER Taurus 90/900 MPM lens telescope, beginners can let their admiring gaze wander quickly and easily across the night sky. The complete astronomy set comes with everything you need for fascinating observations of the stars, planets, Sun and Moon: an astronomical lens telescope with 90 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length, an azimuthal and equatorial MPM mount, a tripod and a wide range of accessories for your new astro-hobby. The highlight of the mount: with the fine adjustment in both axes, the careful alignment and tracking of the telescope is super easy. A classic for astro-newbies - the telescope Very easy to handle, even for beginners and children: this classic refracting telescope - a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor - will help you get started in astronomy successfully. Thanks to the modern, precisely coated optics, you will benefit from good imaging properties when looking at astronomical sights. With its 90 mm aperture, this beginner’s telescope already collects around 165 times more light than the human eye and thus offers good resolving power. In addition, the 90 mm aperture and 900 mm focal length result in a large focal ratio (aperture/focal length) of 1 to 10 (F/10). The effect: you will enjoy a sharp image with good contrast. Due to the combination of large aperture and long focal length the telescope for beginners is a flexible multi-talent. It’s not only very suitable for observing the Moon, Sun and planets. You can also use it to get a closer look at many deep-sky objects. Enjoy the view of sparkling open star clusters and globular clusters, but also gas nebulae such as the Orion Nebula M42 or the Dumbbell Nebula M27 can be seen beautifully. But what about the magnification? The resolving power achieved by the 90 mm aperture easily allows magnifications of up to about 180x with really sharp images. Technically, the beginner’s telescope can do a lot more: with the included accessories, magnifications of up to 675x are possible. However, you want to see the celestial bodies as clearly as possible, but as the magnification increases, the image sharpness can slowly decrease. How much you can magnify during your astronomical explorations also depends on more than just your telescope. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) is also always an important factor. Twice as good for flexible sky observation - mount and tripod The height-adjustable aluminium tripod with a particularly adaptable mount provides a secure footing for your explorations of the universe. The MPM (Multi-Purpose-Mount) can be used both azimuthally and equatorially. In the azimuthal mode, its handling is particularly intuitive: just as with a common photo tripod, you can simply swing the beginner’s telescope to the left and right, up and down by hand. Alternatively, you can use the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment to point and track your telescope with extra precision and comfort. The integrated polar-wedge also allows you to tilt the axis cross into an equatorial position. This means that one axis is parallel to the Earth's axis. You then only have to compensate for the movement of the celestial bodies on this one axis. No more simultaneous movement along the two axes! Of course, the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment are also usable for the equatorial mode. A handy feature of the tripod: a storage plate is placed between the tripod legs. Here your astronomy accessories are always within reach. Fully equipped for your amazing astronomy adventure - the accessories In addition to the telescope, tripod and mount, you need a few extras in order to make your very own exciting discoveries in the sky. Therefore, the telescope set for beginners contains all the necessary equipment and more. An important helper: the LED viewfinder. Using it is very easy: install the direction finder, which projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen, parallel to the actual beginner's telescope. When you look through it, the red dot appears to float in front of the sky. This allows you to quickly see what your telescope is pointing at. Thus, the LED viewfinder enables you to easily find celestial objects and align the telescope precisely - before going on to the detailed view through the magnification of the telescope. You decide how big you want the astronomical objects to appear by choosing the eyepiece. Even through the two eyepieces included in the astronomy set (4 mm and 20 mm) you will be able to get very different images of the celestial bodies. Would you like to see even more details? Then simply triple the magnification of the eyepiece using the 3x Barlow lens. And should you wish for even more flexibility by means of different magnifications, you will have a large selection of optional eyepieces for your beginner’s telescope. The 31.7mm (1.25 inch) socket diameter corresponds to an international and manufacturer-independent standard. You don't want to have to lie down underneath the beginner’s telescope for your observations, even though it’s pointed vertically into the sky? You won’t have to, because the 90-degree star diagonal mirror always allows you to look in comfortably. This is also true during the day. For not only the night holds fascinating sights in store for us. That's why you can safely observe the star of our daytime sky with the solar filter: the Sun. So enjoy marvelling at fascinating granulation and sunspots. CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter! Anyone who makes impressive observations naturally wants to capture and share them. That's why you can easily use the smartphone adapter to take fascinating snapshots of the Moon, the Sun and other amazing objects with your mobile phone camera. Perfect as a first step into the exciting world of astrophotography! BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100
Do you already own a photo camera and would like to create impressive pictures of the night sky with the help of the long exposure or even make time-lapse pictures with little effort ? The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical PhotoMount PM-100 is the ideal base. Not only for beginners in astrophotography, this mount is particularly well suited, but also the experts swear by a compact and easy-to-use mount to automatically compensate for the natural rotation of the earth. The built-in tracking motor rotates the saddle-mounted camera precisely against the earth's rotation and thus the stars remain in pinpoint shape even with long exposures. If you already own a sturdy photo tripod with a video tilt head you can use the photo mount's head directly with the 1/4 inch & 3/8 inch photo thread holes. The pole height (latitude) is then adjusted by the video tilt head. The photo-mount with tripod with carry-case and polar wedge are also available as a bundle - Product No.: 4964120 Which cameras are basically suitable for use with the BRESSER photo mount ? All cameras with ¼ inch (6.3mm) tripod connection thread and bulb length" B "for long exposure are suitable. The BRESSER StarTracker Astronomical Photo Mount PM-100 is designed for a camera with lens of max. 2.0 kg total weight to carry and track in polar mode. In Azimut mode also a camera weight up to 5.0kg is possible.  Large aperture, wide-angle lenses are ideal for the beginning, because the requirements for tracking accuracy accumulate with increasing focal length and exposure time. Thus, a shot with wide-angle lens can be exposed for up to several minutes and the stars remain punctiform without problems. For example, with a 200mm telephoto lens the polar alignment of the photo mount must be exactly right. But thanks to the integrated pole finder tunnel, this is done quickly. After setting up the light and compact StarTracker Photo Mount, simply set the approximate latitude (pole height) and aim Polaris through the integrated pole finder tunnel. Then mount the camera with the photo lens using the quick-release plate on the supplied ball head. With the ball head, the camera can be aligned and determined at any time on any section of the sky. As soon as the tracking motor is switched on, long-time exposure can be started immediately. This does not even take 5 minutes ... The tracking is carried out by a precise stepper motor, which can be controlled by an easy digital setup on LCD screen. Low power consumption allows up to 20 hours of operation with just one battery charge or simply use the micro USB port for an unlimited power supply. FEATURES Equatorial StarTracker Photo-Mount Automatic siderial tracking against the Earth rotation  Different tracking speed setting possible Suitable for northern and southern henisphere Time lapse: from 15 minutes to 48 hours Ballhead with quick release saddle plate and 1/4" Photo thread for Kamera mountingPhoto-Mount with 1/4" threaded bolt for ballhead mounting Additional quick release coupling for ball head removal High precision stepper motor with helical gear for accurate tracking Clear LCD screen and easy setup menu Battery operation 4 x AA batteries or mico USB (optional acc.)  Battery life: up to 20 hours Weight Photo-Mont: 0.63kg Load capacity of Photo-Mount: up to 2.0kg/5.0kg (EQ/AZ) Optional Acc: Polar-wedge, Tripod and carry-case, optical pole finder scope with illumination unit SCOPE OF DELIVERY StarTracker astronomical Photo-Mount head Ballhead with quick release saddle plate User manual

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC 68° Ar Eyepiece 16mm (1,25")
With the introduction of the 68° Series we are pleased to make two important improvements in eyepiece manufacture, the first being 15 layer Enhanced Multi-layer Deposition (EMD™) coatings on all glass-to-air surfaces to gain maximum contrast, and waterproofing the eyepiece with the use of Argon gas purging instead of standard Nitrogen gas. Although Nitrogen is a fine choice that will last for many years, Argon is a larger molecule that maintains its protective properties over a wider range of temperatures, and is even more resistant to diffusion thereby further extending the protective waterproof environment of the eyepiece body. Through computer-optimized design, a careful selection of optical glasses, and enhanced multi-layer deposition coatings, the Explore Scientific 68° Series™ eyepieces produce long eye-relief and ensure high image-correction, a flat field, and high contrast across the entire image field. An excellent choice for those who make extended visual studies of detail with subtle variations of brightness, and for those who must wear glasses while observing. All 68° Series eyepieces are fully EMD (Enhanced Multi-Layer Deposition) coated and edge-blackened to produce superior contrast.
