Whether camping, sailing, trekking or swimming at the nearest lake – anyone who enjoys being outdoors for long periods of time does not want to do without their smartphone, tablet, powerbank, etc. But one question quickly arises: where can I find the nearest power socket? After all, every battery runs out and our practical everyday helpers can't manage without electricity. With the ultra-compact BRESSER solar charger, you simply use the power of the sun to charge your devices. The environmentally friendly solar energy is free of charge – and you remain independent of the power grid!
Simply open it up, put it down and immediately produce green solar powerThe handling is very simple: unfold the solar panel and align it as perpendicularly as possible to the sun. Then connect the device to be charged to the solar charger, either with a suitable USB cable (not included) or with the included DC connection cable. The charging process begins immediately.
Which devices can the solar panel charge?
The solar charger gets all devices with a USB power supply connection or the above-mentioned DC power plug connection up and running again in no time – e.g. smartphones, tablets, power banks, portable playstations, MP4 players, GPS devices and Bluetooth headphones. For charging large power stations, we recommend the more powerful BRESSER solar panels with at least 60 watts output power – see art. no. 3810050, 3810060, 3810070.Universal charger with flexible connection optionsOne USB-A connection socket is available for powering your devices. There is also an additional universal connection socket for DC bar plugs with a diameter of 5.5/2.1 mm. A universal connection cable with a 5.5/2.1mm DC bar plug on both sides and a length of 2 metres, as well as 3 plug adapters (3.5/1.35mm, 5.5/2.5mm, 8.0/5.5/0.8mm) are included in the scope of delivery. The polarity of the connectors is as follows: Inner contact = positive (+), outer contact = negative (-).
How long does it take to charge a battery? Most modern devices with built-in batteries indicate the current charging status of the battery on a display or status LEDs. The charging process is also automatically terminated by the internal charger of the smartphone or tablet, etc., as soon as the battery is full.Nevertheless, it is helpful to know how long a full charge theoretically takes with an empty battery. This is the only way to choose the right solar panel model for the requirements of the devices you want to charge. Here is a short calculation: Divide the capacity of the battery (mAh) by the charging current of the charger (mA) and multiply this by a factor of 75. This then gives you the approximate charging time in minutes that is required to fully charge the battery at 100% sunshine duration.Example: A battery with a capacity of 3000mAh (3.0 Ah) and a charging current via 5 volt USB connection of 2400mA (2.4 amps). So 3000 : 2400 x 75 = 94 minutes. Dividing the result by 60 gives the charging time in hours: 1.6 hours. This means that an average smartphone can be fully charged in just about 1.6 hours with a 21-watt solar panel.
Carabiner hook for attachment included
In order to attach the solar panel securely to an object and align it perfectly with the sun, 4 sturdy snap hooks are included in the scope of delivery. Simply connect them to the riveted ring eyelets of the solar panel and use them to hang the solar charger stably, e.g. on a tent loop, a fence or other suitable holding points. If you attach it to your backpack, you can even use the time during a hike for charging.
Innovative solar cell technology with high efficiency Monocrystalline silicium cells ensure high efficiency and the fastest possible charging of the device batteries. This means maximum electricity yield per solar surface. As a result, you benefit from relatively high charging currents and short charging times with a compact design.Easy transportThanks to the modern and flat design, you can easily fold the individual segments of the solar panel into a small bag and stow it in your luggage while saving space. Always ready for the next spontaneous use.Robust, dust- and water-repellent materials The durable Cordura fabric is extremely tear-resistant but still flexible. It protects the valuable solar panel from damage and provides the necessary stability during use. The solar panel is dust- and water-repellent, it withstands most weather conditions and is your ideal companion for almost all outdoor activities. Nevertheless, the solar panel should not be exposed to direct rain or extreme humidity.IMPORTANT NOTESThe solar panel does not have an integrated charger or charge controller. Therefore, it is not suitable for directly charging loose battery cells or lead batteries. It is only suitable for smartphones, tablets and power banks, for example, because they always have built-in internal chargers. The solar panel does not have its own battery, but serves exclusively as a power source in sunshine for charging electronic devices. When connecting the devices to be charged via the DC bar plug, always ensure the required voltage and correct polarity. Otherwise, damage may occur to the electronics of the solar panel and the devices to be charged.Do not leave the solar panel outdoors at night with high humidity or in the rain. This could damage the internal electronics. Please note that refurbished items generally come with a 12-month warranty.Who doesn't dream of exploring the vastness of the universe with their own eyes? This complete telescope set comes with everything you need for your journey to open star clusters and distant emission nebulae: an astronomical reflecting telescope with 114 mm aperture and 500 mm focal length, an equatorial mount, a tripod and extensive accessories for astronomical observations. You can immediately start your very own adventure in astronomy, because the system is very easy to handle and transport. Especially wide-field observations in the Milky Way are a joy to watch through the beginner's telescope.
A classic for a start - the telescopeWith the classic reflector telescope, a so-called Newtonian reflector, you’ll achieve a successful start in sky observation. A special feature of this type of telescope is that you don’t look in at the back of the telescope, but at the side in the front. The advantage is the comfortable observation position. So you don't have to bend down when the entry-level telescope is pointed vertically into the sky. In terms of optics, these reflecting telescopes are impressive in that they are absolutely free of chromatic aberrations and offer good imaging properties.
With its 114 mm aperture, the entry-level telescope already collects a lot of light from celestial objects. In addition, 114 mm aperture and 500 mm focal length result in a very short focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 4.4 (F/4.4). This causes the telescope to be very fast and to deliver an extremely bright image. The fast focal ratio and the short focal length cause the telescope to be a specialist for observing structures in the Milky Way and extended gas nebulae, for example the North America Nebula NGC 7000. This way a ''walk'' through the Milky Way with low magnification is simply a lot of fun. And you can choose the perfect place for it, because the entry-level telescope is very compact and therefore easily transported.
And how closely will you be able to look? The aperture of 114 mm offers a resolving power that allows magnifications of up to about 230x with sharp images. Technically, even higher magnifications are possible - theoretically up to 375x by using the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the sharpness of the image may slowly decrease. Of course, it is not only your telescope that determines how much you can magnify. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) is also an important factor.
Note for nature lovers:
If you choose a Newtonian telescope like the Pluto reflector telescope, you can look forward to a specialist in astronomical observation. However, the image is always displayed sideways as well as upside down, which makes no difference when observing the sky. However, this type of telescope is less suitable for nature and landscape observations during the day. Would you also like to use your new telescope for exciting nature discoveries? Then we recommend that you choose one of the BRESSER refractor telescopes.
The perfect foundation for your astro-start - mount and tripod
Have you found the ideal location for your celestial observations? Then simply attach the telescope tube to the height-adjustable tripod with equatorial mount. It makes tracking particularly easy, because in contrast to an azimuthal mount, you do not need to move both axes at the same time. So you simply align one axis parallel to the Earth's axis by pointing it approximately at Polaris. This process is called ''alignment''. After that, you track your celestial bodies only on this one axis. Another plus of the mount are the two flexible shafts with fine adjustment. They make adjusting and tracking the beginner's telescope particularly precise and comfortable. Very handy: A storage plate mounted between the tripod legs allows easy access to your accessories.Keep track of things automatically: For this telescope’s equatorial EQ-3 mount, the tracking motor with item number 4951400 is available as an optional accessory. This eliminates the need to manually track a celestial object set in the telescope. When this motor is installed at the mount, it automatically tracks the celestial object, keeping it in the field of view of the eyepiece. This makes observing the night sky even more comfortable!
Everything included - the accessories
Unpack, set up and start your journey of discovery across the night sky right away – for this purpose the astronomy set comes with all the necessary accessories. Get the perfect overview with the LED viewfinder. To do this, the viewfinder is simply installed parallel to the actual telescope. Turned on, it projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. Look through it and it appears to hover in front of the night sky in exactly the direction in which you have aligned your entry-level telescope. Thus precise telescope alignment and finding celestial objects becomes child's play when you are using the LED viewfinder.
A larger field of view or more details? With the two eyepieces (4 mm and 20 mm) you can admire the objects in different magnifications. The 3x Barlow lens goes one better: it allows you to triple the magnification of the eyepieces.
But it doesn't have to stop there: If you ever want to expand your astronomy set, you can choose from a variety of additionally available eyepieces. After all, the socket diameter of 31.7 mm (1.25 inch) follows an international and manufacturer-independent standard.
Observe the star of our daytime sky completely safely – to this end a solar filter is included with the entry-level telescope. Take a closer look at the sunspots and marvel at the granulation on our very own star.
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
For quick snapshots of special discoveries, grab the smartphone camera adapter. This way you can delight yourself and your friends again and again with fascinating astrophotos, for example of the Moon or the Sun.

The complete set already contains the necessary equipment for your new hobby: the astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 800 mm focal length, the azimuthal mount, the tripod and extensive accessories for your voyage of discovery through the solar system. The beginner's telescope is very easy to use and therefore ideal for getting children excited about astronomy.
Well-tried classic for completely new impressions - the telescope
Especially for beginners and children, this classic lens telescope - also known as an achromatic refractor of the Fraunhofer type - makes it easy to enjoy astronomical sights. The modern, precisely coated optics ensure good imaging properties. Another strength of the optics: the 60 mm aperture and the 800 mm focal length result in a very large focal ratio (ratio of the aperture to the focal length) of about 1 to 13.3 (F/13.3). The result: a very sharp image with good contrast. The long focal length also makes the telescope a specialist for lunar, solar and planetary observation. However, open star clusters and globular clusters are also guaranteed to amaze you when you look through the telescope.
And how big do the celestial objects appear? With the aperture size, the starter telescope achieves a resolving power which lets you enjoy really sharp images at up to 120x magnification. Technically, this entry-level telescope is capable of more - theoretically up to 600x with the included accessories. But: with increasing magnification, the image sharpness can slowly decrease. Of course, not only the telescope plays a role when it comes to magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions) also affects your view of the night sky.
The foundation for your view into space - mount and tripod
The telescope tube is held securely on the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. And this azimuthal mount has a great advantage: it is very easy to operate. Just like a common photo tripod, you simply swing the telescope manually to the left and right, up and down. Perfect for beginners in astronomy and children. But where to put the accessories? To keep them within easy reach, just place eyepieces, solar filter etc. on the storage plate between the tripod legs.
All you need for a quick start in astronomy - the accessories
For your fascinating view of the night sky, the telescope for beginners comes with lots of accessories. Among them you will find a LED-viewfinder, with which you can easily keep track of the sky. It is mounted parallel to the actual telescope and projects a red dot onto a small screen. When you look through the viewfinder, the red dot appears to float in front of the sky - right where your starter telescope aperture is pointing. This way, the finder helps you to align your optics precisely and locate celestial objects - before you then take a closer look through the magnification of the telescope.
You determine how much magnification you get by choosing the eyepiece. You will see: The two eyepieces (4 mm, 20 mm) included in the set alone offer quite different perspectives on the beauties of our cosmos. For the most versatile views possible, the socket diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) also complies with an international, manufacturer-independent standard. So if you want to expand your astronomy set later, you will have a wide choice of models.
You have found an astronomical highlight and want to see even more details? Then place the 3x Barlow-lens between the telescope and the eyepiece. It will triple the magnification.
Meanwhile the included 90-degree star diagonal mirror lets you comfortably admire the night sky. Even though your entry-level telescope is pointed upwards, you don't have to lie down underneath to enjoy the view. Instead, you look in comfortably from the side.
But it is not only at night that we can observe the beauty of outer space. During the day, our own Sun is the undisputed star in the sky. So attach the solar filter to the aperture of your beginner’s telescope and safely observe sunspots and granulation.
CAUTION: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
To capture and share your unforgettable moments in astronomy, take your very own snapshots with the smartphone adapter. Thus the very first step towards astrophotography is easily taken!
Look forward to your complete astronomical starter package and a whole new view of the Sun, Moon and planets - with the BRESSER Stellar 60/800 AZ lens telescope.

However, as the magnification increases, the image usually becomes more and more blurred. In addition, the telescope is not the only factor determining the possible magnification. The air turbulence in the atmosphere is always an important criterion as well (seeing conditions).
Your foundation for moving observations – mount and tripod
Once you have found the right location for your astronomical adventures, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. The easy handling of this azimuthal mount allows you to move effortlessly from one astronomical sight to the next. Simply swing the starter telescope manually to the left and right, up and down – just like a normal photo tripod. In order to keep eyepieces, solar filters etc. within reach at all times, just place your accessories on the practical storage plate between the tripod legs.
Everything for your astro quickstart – the accessories
In order to enable you to see as much as possible, the beginner’s telescope comes with an extensive range of accessories. With the LED viewfinder, for example, you can keep track of the sky. It’s a direction finder that you mount parallel to the actual telescope. It projects a red dot onto a small ground-glass screen. When you look through it, the red dot appears to be floating in front of the sky, exactly where the optics of your telescope are pointing. This makes it easier to find celestial objects and to align the telescope accurately – just before you look more closely with the higher magnification. And how high that is, you determine by choosing the appropriate eyepiece. Two are already included in the set: 4 mm and 20 mm. Moreover, you can triple the magnification of the eyepieces with the 3x Barlow-lens. If at some point you want to extend your field of view with additional eyepieces, this poses no problem at all. The socket diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) corresponds to an international and manufacturer-independent standard. This offers you a wide choice of optional eyepieces you can use with your telescope.
For you to direct your gaze comfortably to star clusters and planets, the 90-degree diagonal mirror allows you to easily look into the starter telescope. This way you don't have to lie down under the entry-level telescope when the optics are pointing at the sky. Instead, you just look in from the side.
However, not only the night holds numerous interesting sights for us. During the day, especially our nearest star is worth a look. So take the solar-filter and direct your gaze safely at sunspots and granulation on the Sun. WARNING: Never point the telescope at the Sun without the solar filter!
If you want to capture and share your discoveries, just take photos of the Moon, Sun and more using the included smartphone adapter.

This complete set contains everything you need for your first steps into sky observation: an astronomical lens telescope with 60 mm aperture and 700 mm focal length, an azimuthal mount, a tripod and lots of accessories. The system is very easy to handle and therefore ideal for introducing children to astronomy as a hobby. And since there are so many beautiful things to discover on Earth as well, the telescope is suitable for observing nature and landscapes.
Simply an astro-classic – the telescope
With this classic lens telescope – a so-called Fraunhofer achromatic refractor – even beginners and children can easily gain new insights into the night sky. Thanks to the modern, precisely coated optics, the starter telescope offers good imaging properties. A sharp image with good contrast – this is ensured by the large focal ratio of about 1 to 11.7 (F/11.7), which results from the ratio of the 60 mm aperture to the 700 mm focal length. Perfect for exploring our Moon, the planets, but also open star clusters and globular clusters.
And what about the magnification? The 60 mm aperture provides a resolving power that easily allows magnifications up to about 120x with really sharp images. Technically, even more is possible with this beginner’s telescope – up to 175x with the included accessories. However, as the magnification increases, the image can become more and more blurred. How much magnification is actually possible depends not only on the telescope, but also on the air turbulence in the atmosphere (seeing conditions).
The foundation for moving impressions – mount and tripod
For your nighttime observations, attach your telescope to the height-adjustable aluminium tripod with azimuthal mount. Thanks to its extremely easy operation, you can enjoy effortless astronomical explorations with this azimuthal mount. Just like with a normal photo tripod, you simply turn the starter telescope by hand up and down, to the left and right. To ensure that your eyepieces, compass, star map etc. are always within reach, simply place your accessories on the practical storage plate located between the tripod legs.
Everything for a good start in astronomy – the accessories
In the sturdy hard-top case, in which you can store the beginner's telescope perfectly and take it safely with you on your travels, you will also find lots of accessories.
The 5x24 finder is a small miniature telescope that you simply mount parallel to the actual telescope. With its weak 5x magnification and integrated crosshair, it helps you keep track of the starry sky. So it allows you to easily find celestial objects and precisely align the telescope – before you then enjoy the view with the higher magnification.
And how high the magnification is depends on which of the three included eyepieces (4 mm; 12.5 mm; 20 mm) you are currently using. To change the magnification, simply insert another one into the telescope's focuser. If at some point you want to change your field of view with additional eyepieces: no problem! The 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) socket diameter complies with an international and cross-manufacturer standard, so you can combine a wide range of optional eyepieces with your telescope.
For a comfortable view at any time, you will also find a 90-degree diagonal mirror in the scope of delivery. Otherwise, you would have to lie down under the starter telescope in order to achieve good observation results when the optics are pointed upwards into the sky. Instead, you simply look in comfortably from the side.
In addition to the night sky, the Earth also offers many captivating sights. That's why the 1.5x erecting lens turns the image the right side around, so that you can devote your entry-level telescope to observing nature and landscapes during day.
However, because orientation in the night sky is not as easy as on our daytime planet, a compass and star map are included in the set. This way you always know where to look and what you will see there.
Enjoy a quick start to the exciting hobby of astronomy with the BRESSER Arcturus 60/700 AZ lens telescope including all accessories.

The advantage of this SD refractor is its short length and low weight. The FPL53 glass reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image by an exceptionally high degree of elimination of residual chromatic aberrations. The SD glass is designed to bring all beams of violet, red, blue, yellow and green very precisely together on the same plane. The special lens materialreduces chromatic aberration across all colours.Thenew Vixen SD103SII no longer uses spacer plates, which leads to a significantly better image quality, especially with bright stars. In photographic images,no spikes can be seen on the stars, which were otherwise produced by the spacer plates. In addition, you will be thrilled when you look at the moon or the brighter planets and observe the moon craters pin sharp as well as with extremely high contrast. Also look at the ring planet Saturn or the cloud bands on Jupiter. But of course, brighter deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula or the Andromeda Galaxy can also be observed in impressive detail. In combination with the new optional SD Reducer HD Kit or SD Flattener HD, these refractors allow illumination with a 44 mm image circle for full format SLR cameras. The older ED81SII, ED103S, ED115S refractors were originally developed for visual observers and photographers using APS-C cameras. However, the new SD series is also optimised for use with full-frame cameras through the use of new inner baffle rings. The large 60 mm eyepiece extension also allows heavy cameras to be attached without tilting. Furthermore, the included folding mirror allows comfortable observation even in unfavourable observation situations and additionally offers a T2 thread for connecting a DSLR camera. This allows you to observe in straight line or at a 90° angle. The carrying handle attached to the tube clamps ensures a secure grip when transporting the telescope.FEATURESObjective lens: D=103 mm, multi-coated2-lens SD apochromat without spacer platesNo more spikes on the starsFocal length: 795 mm (f7.7)Resolution and limiting magnitude: 1.13 arcseconds; 11.8Light gathering power: approx. 217x more than the human eyeDimensions and weight: 115 mm dia x 810 mm; 5.5 kgViewfinder telescope: 7x50 illuminatedAdapters and connections: 60 mm thread, 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm socket, thread for T-ringConnection: 50.8 mm and 31.7 mm socket with flip mirror / folding mirrorPhotography: primary focus and eyepiece projectionSCOPE OF DELIVERYRefractor SD103SII Telescope (OTA)Tube clamp with dovetailDew capFlip mirror / folding mirrorCarrying handleDovetail rail7x50 viewfinder
