Product information "Vixen Mobile Porta A70Lf complete Telescope Set"

This set includes a 70 mm refracting telescope with an azimuthal, easy to operate mount and two eyepieces.
The MOBILE PORTA is a small transportable travel mount for fast observations and does not require time-consuming installation.
Thanks to the new compact, lightweight design, it is ready for use in no time and is easy to transport. The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith – including with longer telescopes.
In addition to these new functions, the telescope also comes with the other tried-and-tested features of the Porta series, such as a slip clutch and fine adjustment.

Easy to adjust
The telescope can be moved by hand in all directions and is held in position by a slip clutch.
This allows you to adjust the telescope to your desired object with ease.

The new multi arm
The angle of the new multi arm can be adjusted, allowing you to observe at the zenith – including with longer telescopes.
The angle of the multi arm can be adjusted in 15-degree steps. The multi arm system also enables you to fold the mount for easy transport.

Vixen SG-L02 Headlamp red-light white-light

The perfect LED head torch for nighttime observations! Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations. In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light. With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light. Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness. The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem. However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. Vixen SD81SII Telescope OTA

A new 81 mm apochromatic refractor with high-performance Super ED glass (= SD). The advantage of these SD refractors is their short length and low weight.The FPL53 glass reproduces an extremely clear and sharp image due to an exceptionally high elimination of residual colour errors. The SD glass is designed to bring all rays of violet, red, blue, yellow and green together very precisely on the same plane. Thus, the special lens material reduces chromatic aberration across all colours.The new Vixen SD81SII no longer uses spacer plates, which leads to significantly better image quality, especially with bright stars. This means that there are no more spikes on the stars in photographic images, which were otherwise produced by the spacer plates. You will be thrilled when you look at the moon or the brighter planets and observe the moon craters pin sharp and with an extremely high contrast.
