Warning notes
  • General safety instructions DANGER Risk of suffocation! Improper use of this product can result in suffocation, especially for children. Therefore, carefully observe the following safety instructions. Keep packaging materials (plastic bags, rubber bands, etc.) away from children! There is a risk of suffocation! Keep cords, ribbons, and similar materials away from children! They could accidentally strangle themselves and suffocate! NOTE Risk of material damage! Improper handling can damage the device and/or accessories. Therefore, only use the device according to the following safety instructions. Do not dismantle the device! In the case of a defect, contact your dealer. They will contact the service center and may send the device in for repair.
  • Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
  • Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
  • Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Vixen R200SS Reflector Telescope
The R200SS features very fast f4 200 mm optics with a parabolic primary mirror and produces extremely sharp images with no chromatic aberration. A special layer made using state-of-the-art technology provides an optimal surface for observing and photographing deep-sky objects. The large aperture and short size make this device ideal for astrophotography of nebulae, star clusters and comets. The use of an optional coma corrector provides a sharp image until the edges of the field of view. The focuser features a socket for 2-inch eyepieces. Vixen has developed a unique aluminium vacuum evaporation system that produces extreme precision mirror surfaces. The revolutionary Vixen system allows for controlled coating of the primary mirror for greater accuracy. This coating is used on both the VC200L and the R200SS. FEATURES Very quick 200 mm F 4.0 optics Focal length: 800 mm Resolution and limiting magnitude: 0.58, 13.3 Light-gathering power: 816x Dimensions and weight: 232 x 700 mm; 5.3kg Adapter and connections: 31.7 mm receptacle, 60 mm connection DELIVERY CONTENT R200SS telescope/tube 7x50 viewfinder, illuminated Tube clamps Dovetail bar Carry strap for telescope

Vixen VC200L Optical tube
Astrophotographers generally use two different focal lengths: Short focal lengths for overview photos and extensive deep-sky objects, and long focal lengths for objects which are further away. Our aspherical mirror optics offer the perfect solution for these scenarios. The VISAC primary mirror (Vixen Sixth-Order Aspheric Cassegrain) is specially designed for astrophotography and provides a fully flat and true-colour image over the entire image frame. Thanks to the three-element field corrector in front of the convex secondary mirror, there is no spherical aberration, coma or field curvature. Although the device is designed for astrophotography, it is also suitable for visual observations. LUNT CAA-RF 0.8x reducer/field-flattener for nighttime photography with LS80MT, LS100MT & LS130MT telescopes
Field-flattener and focal length reducer for deep-sky astrophotography. Designed for the multipurpose APO telescopes of the Lunt-Solar-Systems LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT series. At the telescopes of the MT series from Lunt Solar Systems, the H-Alpha filter unit for solar observation can be removed, then these telescopes can be used as high quality ED APO's for observing and photographing the night sky. This accessory for the LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT telescopes shortens the focal length by a factor of 0.8x, providing a larger field of view for deep-sky astrophotography. This also allows shorter exposure times. At the same time, the field of view is flattened for photography. On the camera side, the reducer/field-flattener has a T2 male thread (M42x0.75). DSLR cameras can be connected here directly with a normal T2 ring. For other cameras, an M48x0.75 male thread is available in addition to the T2 male thread. The distance between reducer/field-flattener and camera sensor should be around 50 to 55mm.An M64x1 thread is provided on the telescope side. This allows to connect the reducer/field flattener to the focusers of the conversion kits for the LS80MT, LS100MT and LS130MT telescopes. Please note that for using the reducer/field flattener at the LS80MT, LS100MT or LS130MT telescopes, the corresponding conversion kit for night-time use of the telescope is absolutely necessary..FEATURESShortens focal length of F/7 ED telescopes by a factor of 0.8xFlattened field of view for photographyT2 thread and M48x0.75 thread for camera connectionWorking distance 50 to 55mmSCOPE OF DELIVERY0.8x reducer/field-flattenerAdapter to T2 thread (M42x0.75) and to M48x0.75
