FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

Double check: The BRESSER Climate Smile thermometer/hygrometer two-piece set gives you an easy overview of indoor temperature and humidity in two rooms. If our indoor climate is as it should be, we'll feel comfortable and well within our own four walls, in the office or other favourite rooms. The indoor air can also impact our health. If indoor air remains too humid for too long, there's a risk of an uninvited and unwanted guest - mould. By contrast, excessively dry air, such as in overheated rooms, can quickly make us feel uncomfortable. That's why it pays to keep a close eye on the indoor climate with the BRESSER thermometer/hygrometer - for comfortable and healthy living and working!
The ideal indoor climate with a thermometer/hygrometer and a smile
The handy temperature and humidity gauges show precise values on the clearly structured display whenever you need them. Sometimes, all you want to know is when you need to ventilate your home. Which is why our measuring instruments are fitted with an indoor climate indicator. If the smiley gives you a smile, you know that everything's ok. Otherwise, it's time to ventilate the room. In addition, the screen also shows the current time. Summer time or winter time, when do the clocks need to change again? With the DCF time signal, you don't need to worry as the time is adjusted automatically. There is also a practical date function at the press of a button.
Breathe easily with the BRESSER Climate Smile thermometer/hygrometer two-piece set for the perfect indoor climate!

Small device, big impact: With the BRESSER HumiTemp Thermo-Hygro Indicator, you can easily ensure the perfect indoor climate. After all, both dry heated air and excessive humidity can take a toll on our health. Dry skin, increased susceptibility to pathogens or mould formation are just some of the common consequences. Do you not always have the perfect values in mind? No problem, the comfort indicator in the shape of a smiley face shows you at a glance how your room air is doing. Smiling, straight or downturned corners of the mouth: with one look, you can see whether it is time for some fresh air.
