The first number indicates the magnification (here: 8x). The second number describes the objective lens diameter in millimeters (here: 42 mm).
ED glass (Extra Low Dispersion) reduces chromatic aberration (color fringing) and ensures brilliant, true-color images.

  • BK-7 (borosilicate glass): Standard, good imaging performance
  • BaK-4 (barium crown glass): Higher quality, rounder exit pupils, brighter and higher-contrast image

Warning notes
  • RISK! Children may only use the device under supervision. Keep packaging materials (plastic bags, rubber bands, etc.) away from children! There is a SUFFOCATION RISK! Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Only use the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device and batteries, or throw them into fire! Excessive heat and improper handling can cause short circuits, fires, and even explosions.
  • FIRE RISK! Do not expose the device – especially the lenses – to direct sunlight! The concentration of light could cause fires.
  • RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! This device contains electronic parts powered by a power source (batteries). Never leave children unsupervised when handling the device! Use the device only as described in the instructions. Otherwise, there is a RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
  • CORROSION HAZARD! Leaked battery acid can cause corrosion! Avoid contact of battery acid with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor.
  • WARNING! Never observe the sun through this night vision device (or any other optical instrument). It can permanently damage your eyes and the device.
  • NOTICE! Do not disassemble the device! In case of a defect, please contact your specialist dealer. They will contact the service center and may send the device for repair if necessary. Only use the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or used batteries with a completely new set of fully charged batteries. Do not use batteries from different brands, types, or varying capacities. Remove batteries from the device when not in use for extended periods!
  • PRIVACY PROTECTION! The digital night vision devices are intended for private use only. Respect the privacy of others - do not use this device, for example, to look into people's homes!
