Warning notes
  • Safety instructions: There are certain dangers when observing the sun, regardless of the telescope used. Lunt-Solar-Systems places great emphasis on the safety of their products during manufacture. Your safety is the highest priority, and we ask that you carefully read the telescope manual before beginning solar observation. Please never disassemble the telescope! Never use it if it has been modified or damaged in any way! Always contact our customer service if you have any questions regarding the safety of your instrument. Never look at the sun with an unprotected eye or with a telescope not intended for solar observation! Never leave your telescope unattended while it is pointed at the sun! Other people who are unfamiliar with it might attempt to replace the block filter with another prism, unaware of how critical this filter is for safety. The components of Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes are not interchangeable with those of other manufacturers. Lunt-Solar-Systems solar telescopes contain several different optical elements that have been precisely adjusted and mounted during manufacture. These systems require no maintenance. Never disassemble the telescope. Doing so will void the warranty, potentially leading to expensive repairs, and may cause future damage to your instrument, compromising your safety! Most Lunt-Solar-Systems telescopes and filters include a very sensitive optical component called an Etalon. These Etalons are built into the system to protect them as best as possible. Countless considerations have been made to ensure the best performance of this "heart" of every system, even under the daily stresses it inevitably faces, such as shocks and vibrations during transport or regular use. Nevertheless, it should never be dropped. Improper use of the telescope can damage the Etalon (not a warranty case) and render the system unusable until repaired. The instrument should always be stored in its original packaging or in the optional transport case (item number 0554010). Like any optical precision instrument, it should be stored in a dry environment. With proper care, you will enjoy your instrument for a lifetime!

BRESSER Twilight I telescope mount with tripod
The Twilight I is a light-to-medium-duty alt-azimuth mount with tripod designed to quickly and easily accept small to medium sized refractors, such as the AR102 + AR127s or ED102mm + ED127, and of course, the ED80mm. Lightweight, fast Newtonians will also match up nicely with the BRESSER Twilight I mount. As long as your telescope does not exceed 18 pounds and has a Vixen-Style Universal Dovetail bar for mounting the telescope to the mount head, you are good to go. The Twilight I alt-azimuth mount head is made of powder-coated aluminum and there are worm gears on both axes. The adjustable angle head can be tilted forward or back at a 45° angle to allow more clearance for your telescope so you can point it straight up for viewing at the zenith. The Allen hex wrench for doing the mount head adjustment can be safely stored at the integrated magnetic holder.  Slow-motion control cables are attached on the vertical and horizontal axes, and are easy to turn during the night, even with gloves on, due to the over-sized knurled knobs that are attached to the end of each cable. They can be attached to either side of each axis to accommodate right or left-handed users, or different types of telescopes (e.g. refractors vs. Newtonian reflectors) for ease of adjustment. The stainless steel tripod that comes standard with the Twilight I mount has adjustable legs and a wide foot print of 42 inches, which makes the tripod more stable. A spreader bar locks against the inside of the legs to secure the tripod even further, and keep vibrations to a minimum. SCOPE OF DELIVERYTwilight I Telescope MountStainless Steel Field tripod

Vixen Polarscope PF-L II for AP & SX Mounts
Vixen’s latest design of polar finder, allows a simple, hassle-free method of polar alignment. The Vixen Polarscope PF-L II for AP & SX mounts has a reticule showing the Pole star (Polaris) and two other stars (Delta UMi and 51 Cep) in their precise positions. By turning the Polarscope you can easily match the reticle with the asterism of these stars in the sky and mechanically adjust your mount’s azimuth and altitude axes to align to the true North Pole. You can then adjust the Polar star to a more precise alignment using the reticule’s year marking (which runs from 2015 to 2040, but in practise can be used much longer after this) . Using this alignment process, with visual reference to the actual stars in the sky, a complicated alignment, using date and time to calculate Polaris offset from the pole is unnecessary. For alignment in the Southern Hemisphere you simply use the Trapezium asterism (Sigma, Chi, Tau and Upsilon Octantis) of the constellation Octans and position the reticule with the trapezium stars aligned to their marked positions. The Polarscope has built-in LED illumination, which is dimmable in many stages, and ensures an automatic shut-off after 2 minutes, saving your battery life. The PFL-II also has an improved edge sharpness, when compared with its predecessor. FEATURES Lighting: LED illumination, with automatic shut-off Power supply: 3v button cell Accuracy: ≤ 3 arc minutes Dimensions: 47 x 55 x 127 mm Weight: 155g Compatibility: Vixen AP, SX, AXJ, AXD Mounts SCOPE OF DELIVERY PF-L II Allen key Battery CR2032 3v

BRESSER Full HD Deep-Sky Camera & Guider 1.25"
BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera with autoguider: a great camera for different types of astrophotography and for autoguiding. Not only suitable for planets, but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Dedicated ToupSky Astro Imaging software supports video preview, video recording, video processing, image capture and processing, dark field correction and raw data output. Easy to use, but with professional results. One of the main features of the new backlit SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, which makes it possible to detect deep-sky objects without active cooling. SONY has increased the quantum efficiency at 533 nm wavelength up to 77%, which is much better than other CMOS sensors have been able to achieve in the past. Connect this camera to a guidescope and attach the camera's built-in ST-4 port, directly to your telescope's equatorial mount guide port and autoguide - using many popular audioguiding programs (PHD, Guidedog and more). Autoguiding enables you to take accurate pictures with long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. Simple automatic tracking at its best. You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes, or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25 " tube, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or C-mount adapter thread (1 "x1 /32"). IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10/11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding. The autoguider software is not included. You can use PHD2 Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (freeware) or AstroArt, MaxIm DL (paid). LUNT LS100MT/B1200R&P Multipurpose APO Telescope for Sun + Night-Sky
Modular designed multipurpose telescope, both for observing the sun in the H-alpha wavelength, as well as for night sky observations. Easy conversion between the different applications with a few simple steps. 3-lens apochromatic telescope with FPL-53 glass, 100mm aperture and 714mm focal length - excellent image quality for H-Alpha solar observation and also for observing the starry sky at night. With innovative air pressure tuning system, good 2 inch (50.8mm) R&P focuser, and B1200 blocking filter. Solar observing in H-alpha: The LS100MT/B1200 is a complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light, with 100mm free aperture (no central obstruction) and 714 mm focal length. The H-alpha wavelength is the most impressive way to observe the sun, showing protuberances at the sun's edge, filaments and flares on the surface, and much more. An internal Etalon filter achieves a bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner. Tuning is done by slightly changing the air pressure in a pressure chamber inside the telescope. This changes the refractive index of the air, making it easy to tune to the H-alpha line. The pressure tuner guarantees a homogeneous image, without central obstruction, and a permanently protected Etalon without erosion. A set of collimating lenses installed in the telescope ensures best performance. Fine adjustment is achieved with a solid 2 inch R&P focuser with 10:1 reduction. Blocking-filter is the B1200. The B1200 is good for visual solar observing. Also solar imaging is possible by cameras with small sensor chip. We recommend a LS100MT with B1800 blocking-filter by using cameras with middle or large sized sensor chips, at very large sensor chips the B3400 blocking-filter. The star diagonal in which the blocking filter is installed, is equipped as standard for 1.25 inch eyepieces and with a T2 camera connection. Observing the starry night sky: The H-Alpha Etalon system can be removed from the telescope in a few easy steps thanks to its modular design. With the additionally available conversion kit (item number 0551430) the 3-lens apochromatic refractor can then be used as a normal telescope with 100mm aperture and 714mm focal length for observation and photography of the night sky. The FPL-53 triplet lens offers an outstandingly low colour aberration image. Common 2 inch star diagonals can be used at the high quality R&P focuser of the conversion kit 0551430. Please note that the optionally available conversion kit 0551430 is absolutely necessary if the telescope should be used at night. More applications: With additionally available accessories the LS100MT offers even more possibilities! - Double-Stack The LS100MT telescope can optionally be upgraded with the additionally available double-stack module DSII/SFPT (item number 0551395). The DSII system is a internal double-stack module. Thereby a bandwidth of <0.5 Angstrom is achieved for H-alpha solar observation. Therefore much more details on the solar surface will become visible. - Solar observing in White-Light If the H-alpha unit has been removed, of course either a sun filter to be installed in front of the objective, or a Herschel-wedge at the focuser can be used to observe the sunspots in White-Light. - Solar observing in Ca-K wavelength Certainly, the Ca-K filter modules from Lunt Solar Systems can also be used at the LS100MT to observe and photograph super-granulation and other effects visible in this wavelength on the sun. This makes the LS100MT a completely universal usable apochromatic telescope of highest quality! FEATURES 3-lens APO refractor, FPL-53 Aperture: 100mm (no central obstruction) Focal length: 714mm Bandwidth: internal Etalon with <0.7 Angstrom Tuning: air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner Blocking filter: B1200 with 1.25" and T2 connection Focuser: R&P with 10:1 reduction Two tube-ring with handle Sol-Searcher installed inside handle Dovetail bar at GP-level for astronomical mounts Weight: 6.8kg Length with blocking filter and dew-shield: 84cm Length without blocking filter and removed dew-shield: 65cm SCOPE OF DELIVERY LS100MT Multipurpose Telescope Pressure-Tuner B1200 blocking filter in star-diagonal housing 2 inch R&P focuser with 10:1 reduction Tube rings with dovetail bar Transport case (78x33x23cm) Instruction manual Conversion kit for observation of the starry night sky (0551430) not included!

Solar observing in H-alpha: The LS130MT/B3400 is a complete telescope for observing the sun in H-alpha light, with 130mm free aperture (no central obstruction) and 910mm focal length. Blocking-filter is the B3400. The B3400 is good for solar imaging by cameras with very large sensor chips, and can also be used for visual observing. The B3400 blocking-filter is fix installed inside the 2 inch R&P focuser. Observing the starry night sky: The H-Alpha Etalon system can be removed from the telescope in a few easy steps thanks to its modular design. Then the 3-lens apochromatic refractor can be used as a normal telescope with 130mm aperture and 910mm focal length for observation and photography of the night sky. The FPL-51 triplet lens offers an outstandingly low colour aberration image. Common 2 inch star diagonals can be used at the R&P focuser of the telescope. Please note that the optionally available conversion kit 0551696 is absolutely necessary for the LS130MT version with B3400 blocking filter if the telescope is also to be used at night. The conversion kit is not required for the versions with B1200 and B1800. More applications: With additionally available accessories the LS130MT offers even more possibilities! - Double-Stack The LS130MT telescope can optionally be upgraded with the additionally available double-stack module LS130MT/DSII (item number 0551690). The DSII system is a internal double-stack module with Pressure-Tuner. Thereby a bandwidth of <0.5 Angstrom is achieved for H-alpha solar observation. Therefore much more details on the solar surface will become visible. - Solar observing in White-Light If the H-alpha unit has been removed, of course either a sun filter can be installed in front of the objective, or a Herschel-wedge at the focuser can be used to observe the sunspots in White-Light. - Solar observing in Ca-K wavelengthThe additionally available "LUNT Ca-K Filter Module for LS130MT" (item number 0551697) can be used on the LS130MT to observe and photograph super-granulation and other effects visible at this wavelength on the sun. This makes the LS130MT a completely universal usable apochromatic telescope of highest quality!
