Complete H-alpha solar telescope with 300mm aperture and a bandwidth of <0.65 Angstroms. With Feather-Touch focuser, innovative air pressure tuning system and B3400 blocking filter.
A really giant telescope for observing the Sun in H-alpha wavelength, a precisely adjusted refractor with a free aperture of 300mm without central obstruction and 2128mm focal length. A internal Etalon filter with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner achieve a bandwidth of <0.65 Angstroms. The Pressure-Tuner system ensures a homogeneous H-alpha image and optimal performance. The Etalon is safely installed inside the telescope. The air pressure tuning system is precisely controlled by an electronic pressure tuner controller.
Blocking Filter is the B3400. The B3400 is well suited for imaging the Sun. For visual observation we recommend an additional zenith mirror. The straight extension tube, in which the blocking filter is installed, is equipped as standard with a 2" eyepiece holder and also with an adapter for 1.25". Focusing is done by the legendary Feather-Touch focuser from Starlight-Intruments with 10:1 reduction.

Spare part for blocking-filters from LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS, suitable for B400, B500, B600, B1200 and B1800 blocking-filters.The H-alpha telescopes and filter systems from Lunt Solar Systems each include a blocking-filter. The blocking-filters have a blue colored filter part on the side facing the telescope. This blue colored filter parts may become a milky white layer at older blocking-filters if the blocking-filter was storded at high air humidity for some time. Please always store H-alpha telescopes and filters as dry as possible. If this blue colored filter part has become a milky white layer, it can be replaced with this spare part. The replacement is easy and can be done by the user himself. Installation instructions can be found here under the "Manuals" tab as a PDF for download.Please note that this replacement part can only be used on Lunt Solar Systems blocking-filters B400 to B1800. Spare part for Pressure-Tuner of MT and THa series H-alpha solar telescopes from LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMSFor example, if the O-rings have been changed on a Pressure-Tuner of a Lunt Solar Systems H-alpha solar telescope, the Pressure-Tuner can be re-greased with this grease. The grease can be applied to the piston with the O-rings and to the threads of the brass cylinder on the Pressure-Tuner. It keeps the Pressure-Tuner running smoothly and seals it.Please note:Do not use too much grease inside the brass cylinder.
