BRESSER Messier AR-127S/635 OTA Optical Tube Hexafoc
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation.Due to the short focal length the BRESSER Messier AR-127S telescope provides large and bright fields of view. Don't forget to observe the Anrdomeda Galaxy with the Messier AR-127S! The glow of this object that you can observe from the immense distance of 2 million lightyears is as spectacular as it is to watch large nebulae with the Messier AR-127S. Because of the large aperture it is even possible to use nebular filters on the Messier AR-127S telescope. These filters can enhance the appearance of emission nebulae to an astonishing contrast level. The special four lens construction delivers a better perfomance than a classical two lens achromat of this focal length.FEATURESOptical design: refractor telescopeLens diameter: 127 mm / focal length: 635 mm / F/5Maximum recommended magnification: 254xTelescope for night and solar observationHigh quality BRESSER refractor opticsUniversal telescope for planets, double stars, planetary nebulae and deep-skyExcellent focuser with 2,5'' (65 mm) open diameter6x30 straight through viewfinder reticleoptimized finder socket for comfortable useCradle rings with handle and integrated piggyback camera holder (1/4 thread)Smartphone camera adapter for sky navigation includedUniversal 44 mm Dovetail plate with stainless steel rail (fits LXD75/Great Polaris/EQ5)50,8 mm (2'') to 31,7 mm (1,25'') adapter with integrated T2 thread (T2-adapter ring for your camera is needed) SCOPE OF DELIVERYOptical Tubeaperture solar-filtereyepieces: 26 mm Super Ploessl 31.7 mm (1.25'')2'' eyepiece adapter8x50 viewfinder Smartphone adapter for celestial navigationDiagonal mirrorTube clamp with handle and camera holder

BRESSER Messier AR-152S/760 Hexafoc Optical Tube
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The combination of large aperture and short focal length predestine the BRESSER Messier AR-152S for the observation of large celestial objects. Experience the famous globular cluster M 13 in the constellation Hercules: Thousands of pinpoint stars stand before a black sky like so many diamonds spilled onto black velvet. Equipped with nebular filters you can watch the Gulf of Mexico in the North America Nebula and all the other celestial objects that Charles Messier listed in 1781. The compact size of the Messier AR-152S combines outstanding tranportability, high light gathering power and low weight for a telescope of this aperture. The special four lens construction delivers a better perfomance than a classical two lens achromat of this focal length. This telescope is only an optical tube without mount and tripod.FEATURESOptical design: refractor telescopeLens diameter: 152 mm / focal length: 760 mm / F/5Maximum recommended magnification: 254xTelescope for night and solar observationHigh quality BRESSER refractor opticsUniversal telescope for planets, double stars, planetary nebulae and deep-skyExcellent focuser with 2,5" (65 mm) open diameterFour lens construction8x50 straight through viewfinder reticleoptimized finder socket for comfortable useCradle rings with handle and integrated piggyback camera holder (1/4 thread)Smartphone camera adapter for sky navigation includedUniversal 44 mm Dovetail plate with stainless steel rail (fits LXD75/Great Polaris/EQ5)50,8 mm (2") to 31,7 mm (1,25") adapter with integrated T2 thread (T2-adapter ring for your camera is needed)Backfocus: 150 mm behind Hexafoc with attached 2" eyepiece adapterCollimatable lens cellSCOPE OF DELIVERYOptical Tubeaperture solar-filter26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece (31.7 mm / 1.25")31,7 mm (1.25") diagonal mirrorintegrated 31.7 mm and T2 adaptertube rings with universal 44 mm Dovetail plate with stainless steel rail (fits LXD75/Great Polaris/EQ5)handle with camera holderSmartphone adapter for celestial navigation 8x50 Viewfinderastronomy PC software Stellariumrotatable star map

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC MN-152 David H. Levy Comet Hunter Telescope
Maksutov Newton MN-152 David H. Levy Comet Hunter Telescope Highly corrected optic for wide-field observation and astrophotography. Developed in collaboration with the famous "comet hunter" David H. Levy. The Maksutov-Newton system does have some pros and cons respectively to the classical newtonian design. Apart from the higher price the main disadvantage is the higher weight - the thick corrector lens at the front is the cause for this. The main advantage of the Maksutov-Newton compared to the classical newton is the sharpness of the field of view. Classical newtonian telescopes do show a sharp pinpoint star image only at the middle of the field of view - outside the optical axis they have a dominant abberation, the so called coma. This is inherent in the newtonian design, and therefore valid for all newtonian telescopes of all brands and not caused by manufacturing tolerances. Coma distorts the star image - the pinpoint star shows a tail, just like a small comet. This decreases sharpness and contrast considerably. The Maksutov-Newton shows a much sharper star image - for most applications the coma is not visible. This results in a high contrast image all over the field of view - for visual observations and for astrophotography with DSLRs alike. This makes the Maksutov-Newton a ideal all-purpose telescope, that is able to show a sharp field without the need for additional correctors. EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC ED APO 127mm f/7,5 FCD-100 Alu HEX
Highly corrected 127 mm air-spaced triplet apochromat (with three lenses) and aluminium tube and a 2.5'' high-precision HEXAFOC focuser. NEW: Now with hybrid viewfinder shoe to accept different viewfinder holders. Apochromats are the ultimate choice in small to medium-sized telescopes: the combination of compactness, transportability, very high image contrast and sharpness together with the possibility to make excellent astrophotos cannot be bested. The advances in glass manufacturing during the last few years have made true apochromats available to more astronomy enthusiasts than ever before. The new Explore Scientific FCD-100 Alu Hex represents another major improvement in this field - the overall correction (colour and spherical) is setting new standards in this price class. The optical design shows a polystrehl value of 0.97 indicating a level of correction that is absolutely top of the line. This excellent apochromat is a very versatile telescope: the fast f-ratio makes short exposure times possible. The high contrast and sharpness of the image provide breathtaking views of large objects like the North America nebula or the Andromeda Galaxy, as well as tack sharp planetary images. The telescope is lightweight and compact - the dew shield slides down the tube to minimize size for transportation. Revolutionary glass and precision manufacturing created a telescope that offers observing joy on the highest level. This does not only qualify this telescope as the ideal travel scope, it is also the perfect choice for fast observations and for astrophotography. The excellent 2,5'' HEXAFOC focuser with 10:1 reduction is perfect for this - the large inner diameter of 65 mm prevents vignetting by the focuser when the telescope is used for astrophotography with large sensors. NEW: Now with hybrid viewfinder shoe to accept different viewfinder holders.    Apochromats are the ultimate choice in small to medium sized telescopes: the combination of compactness, transportability, very high image contrast and sharpness together with excellent astrophotographic performance cannot be bested. The advances in glass manufacturing during the last few years have made true apochromats available to more astronomy enthusiasts than ever before. The high contrast and sharpness of the image provide breathtaking views of large objects like the North America nebula or the Andromeda galaxy, as well as tack sharp planetary images. The telescope is lightweight and compact - the dew shield slides down the tube to minimize size for transportation. Revolutionary glass and precision manufacturing come together to deliver a telescope that offers observing and imaging at the highest level. The Carbon Fibre construction allows this telescope to be used on lower capacity mounts, increasing convenience and portability. Although there are smaller instruments available, the combination of aperture and optical excellence at such a low weight and compact tube makes this an excellent travel scope. The well-designed 2.5" HEXAFOC focuser with 10:1 reduction is perfect for both visual and astrophotographic use - the large inner diameter of 65mm prevents vignetting by the focuser when the telescope is used for astrophotography with large sensors (full frame and above). We offer the very popular EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Triplet ED APO Refractors in 3 different product lines:Essential Line: HOYA FCD-1 Glass lens, AL-Tube, 2.0" Rack & Pinion Focuser with 1:10, 2.0" Star Diagonal 99% Reflectivity (see Part No. 0112084(AL), 0112106(AL), 0112132(AL)), 0112155(CF + 3"FT)). Professional Line: HOYA FCD-100 Glass lens, AL/CF-Tube, 2.5" HEXAFOC Focuser with 1:10, 2.0" Star Diagonal 99% Reflectivity (see Part No. 0112086(AL), 0112108(AL), 0112109(CF), 0112134(AL), 0112135(CF))High-End Line: OHARA FPL-53 Glass lens, Carbon(CF) Tube, 3.0" Feather-Touch Focuser with 1:10, 2.0" Star Diagonal 99% Reflectivity (see Part No. 0112165(CF))SPECIFICATIONSAperture: 127mmFocal Length: 952mmFocal ratio: f/7.5Design: Apochromat with three lenses, two air spaces and FCD-100 glassWeight: 5.2kg, lightweight due to carbon fibre tubeBackfocus: 150mm above 2" adaptorHybrid viewfinder shoe to accept different viewfinder holdersWHAT'S INCLUDED Optical tube with retractable dew-shield2.5" HEX focuser with 1:10 gear reduction  2" Star Diagonal 99% reflectivityTube rings with dovetail plate and handle Extension tubes for focuser (2pcs)Dust caps for front-lens and focuserHybrid viewfinder shoe

BRESSER T2 Extension Tube Set
Set of 5 extension tubes with T2 thread on both sides for exact distances and secure hold of cameras for astrophotography. Also comes with SC to T2 thread adapter. In astrophotography, most cameras are connected to a telescope via a T2 thread (M42x0.75), the most popular international standard. However, in many cases, T2 and T2-ring adapters for connecting telescope focusers to a camera are not sufficient, as specific distances must also be observed. This is especially important when using correctors, reducers or flatteners. This extension tube set, which consists of 5 mm, 7.5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm and 30 mm tubes, will allow you to obtain almost any distance using the corresponding combination. Each tube has a T2 interior thread on one side and a T2 exterior thread on the other side. Most telescopes either include a T2 thread adapter, or the eyepiece can be used with a simple T2 thread adapter with a 2” plug-in diameter (item no. 0510365).However, Maksutov-Cassegrain, Schmidt-Cassegrain, ACF or Ritchey–Chrétien telescopes may use a so-called SC thread. To allow you to use this extension tube set with these telescopes, the set also includes an SD to T2 thread adapter.FEATURES5 T2 tubes with lengths from 5 mm to 30 mmCombination of tubes allows you to obtain distances of 5 mm to 67.5 mmFor exact camera distances in astrophotographyDELIVERY CONTENT5x T2 extension tubes (5/7.5/10/15/30 mm)1x SC to T2 thread adapter

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Twilight I telescope mount with tripod
The Twilight I is a light-to-medium-duty alt-azimuth mount and tripod designed to quickly and easily accept small to medium sized refractors, such as the AR102 + AR127s or ED102mm + ED127, and of course, the ED80mm. Lightweight, fast Newtonians will also match up nicely with the Explore Scientific Twilight I mount. As long as your telescope does not exceed 18 pounds and has a Vixen-Style Universal Dovetail bar for mounting the telescope to the mount head, you are good to go. The Twilight I alt-azimuth mount head is made of powder-coated aluminum and there are worm gears on both axes. The adjustable angle head can be tilted forward or back at a 45° angle to allow more clearance for your telescope so you can point it straight up for viewing at the zenith. The Allen hex wrench for doing the mount head adjustment can be safely stored at the integrated magnetic holder.  Slow-motion control cables are attached on the vertical and horizontal axes, and are easy to turn during the night, even with gloves on, due to the over-sized knurled knobs that are attached to the end of each cable. They can be attached to either side of each axis to accommodate right or left-handed users, or different types of telescopes (e.g. refractors vs. Newtonian reflectors) for ease of adjustment. The stainless steel tripod that comes standard with the Twilight I mount has adjustable legs and a wide foot print of 42 inches, which makes the tripod more stable. A spreader bar locks against the inside of the legs to secure the tripod even further, and keep vibrations to a minimum. SCOPE OF DELIVERTwilight I Telescope MountStainless Steel Field tripod
