- Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
- Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

With the introduction of the 68° Series we are pleased to make two important improvements in eyepiece manufacture, the first being 15 layer Enhanced Multi-layer Deposition (EMD™) coatings on all glass-to-air surfaces to gain maximum contrast, and waterproofing the eyepiece with the use of Argon gas purging instead of standard Nitrogen gas. Although Nitrogen is a fine choice that will last for many years, Argon is a larger molecule that maintains its protective properties over a wider range of temperatures, and is even more resistant to diffusion thereby further extending the protective waterproof environment of the eyepiece body.
Through computer-optimized design, a careful selection of optical glasses, and enhanced multi-layer deposition coatings, the Explore Scientific 68° Series™ eyepieces produce long eye-relief and ensure high image-correction, a flat field, and high contrast across the entire image field. The new BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station with 7-in-1 sensor offers a very comprehensive range of weather data. The multifunctional outdoor sensor can easily be installed with the included mounting accessories!
The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station.
The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station offers a smart feature for this. The indoor climate indicator informs about current indoor climate conditions by means of the room climate indicator.
