Product information "BRESSER Zoom Optics DST-0745 with MikroCam SF UHD camera"
The microscope in detail
The BRESSER DST-0745 is a special microscope that operates with a C-Mount camera (not included).
Thus, direct viewing on a screen is possible. Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is especially advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.
The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x to 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus makes it easier to sharpen, especially at high magnifications.
Due to the convenient and user-friendly operation, the digital microscope is particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality controls of surfaces, or checking components and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also impressively displayed.
The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation, as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in conjunction with a MikroCam C-Mount.
It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2".
With the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.
The transmitted light illumination helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five levels.
The magnification of a USB camera differs from the objective magnification. Therefore, a total magnification of the digital system cannot be specified. It depends on the sensor size and the display on a monitor.

The microscope camera in detail
The BRESSER MikroCam SF cameras are excellent for capturing photos and videos with a microscope. This allows observations of objects to be easily documented and shared with others. The high frame rate of the MikroCam SF series enables the creation of videos with a smooth image flow. The built-in Sony sensors provide good image quality, color reproduction, and dynamics.
The included software supports the following languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish.
The MikroCamLabII software offers a wide range of functions. The essential functions (e.g., exposure time and sensitivity) can be controlled automatically or manually.
Very convenient are the functions for so-called focus stacking (for high depth of field) and the creation of a mosaic or panorama. These two functions can be performed with a previously captured image series or directly from the live view. The creation of sharply focused images using live focus stacking (EDF) is possible with the MikroCamLabII software in just a few minutes. While you focus on the microscope, the software gradually builds the finished, completely sharp result image without further intervention. This way, you get impressive, sharp image results in no time.
The measurement function* included in the software helps you determine sizes or display a scale. You can measure distances, angles, or areas with just a few clicks. Extensive functions support you, e.g., measuring circles with area and radius or complex polygons.
Measurements can be performed in the captured image or in the live image. The MikroCamLabII software also has extensive algorithms for automated image evaluation, e.g., for particle counting or area evaluation.
The housing has a C-Mount connection thread and can therefore be used on microscopes from various manufacturers. We are happy to advise you on which MikroCam is optimally suited for your microscope.
For use on devices with a 23.2 mm receptacle, an optional reducing optic 0.5x (Art. No. 5914015 (fixed), Art. No. 5914005 (variable)) is available. For special applications, e.g., with a C-Mount objective, the camera can also be mounted on the integrated 1/4" tripod thread.
*A suitable measuring tool is required for calibrating the measurement function, e.g.: Art. No. 5916710 or 5916720.
