FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The new BRESSER Wi-Fi colour Weather Station with a 5-in-1 professional sensor offers a wide range of data in a compact device. The advanced, multifunctional outdoor sensor is easy to mount with the supplied mounting accessories.
The outdoor sensor transmits measurements for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation to the base station at a frequency of 868 MHz.
The clearly structured 5.7" colour display on the base station also displays a range of historical data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by graphical symbols.
You can also use the Wi-Fi function to access your local weather data via Weather Underground. The Wi-Fi function also enables Internet time synchronisation and firmware updates.
There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures below -3 °C. A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Wi-Fi colour weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate.
For fans of the moon, the display also indicates the various phases of the moon. An alarm with snooze function is also included.

The BRESSER base station works with the BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station 7002510 (LOT no. 1181632 or higher) as well as many other BRESSER weather stations. (For compatibility, see below).
The clearly structured display on the base station also displays a range of history data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by six graphical symbols. There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures from -3 °C.
A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined value is reached.
