FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

Living room, bathroom, kitchen, cellar – there are many rooms where it can be useful to monitor the indoor climate. If you’re in need of more temperature and humidity sensors for your home, this practical thermo-hygro sensor allows you to expand your existing BRESSER weather station for an additional measurement location. The sensor sends data to your base station over a frequency of 433 MHz at a range of up to 30 metres. What’s more, it also features a clear LCD display so that you can read the measurements directly from the device or use the sensor as a discreet standalone solution.
