The BRESSER USB Digital Microscope DST-1028 5MP enables easy and convenient observation of your specimen on the computer with detailed images. The digital handheld microscope is especially suitable for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components, but also plants, insects and much more. In addition to applications in school and hobby, the digital microscope is also suitable for tasks in quality assurance. The device features high-quality optics with continuous zoom. This enables documentation of the specimen between 10x and 280x magnifications. Depending on the object to be examined, the appropriate magnification can always be selected. With its ring light, the digital incident light microscope ensures optimal illumination and high-contrast images of your specimen. The ring light consists of eight LEDs. The brightness can be conveniently controlled with the dimmer, which is integrated in the USB connection cable. The microscope has a stable, adaptable metal stand, which can be adjusted in height depending on the object height and magnification used. This makes it possible to examine both larger and very flat objects (e.g. printing documents). Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is especially advantageous for "focus stacking" shots.The zoom is continuously adjustable from 0.7x to 4.5x. A coarse and fine focus makes focusing easier, especially at high magnifications.Due to the convenient and user-friendly operation, the digital microscope is particularly suitable for daily use in the workshop. Measurements, quality controls of surfaces, or checking components and raw materials become easy with the workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also impressively displayed.The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation, as it is only a zoom lens. It is used in conjunction with a MikroCam C-Mount.It is designed for camera sensors of about 1/2".With the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned.The transmitted light illumination helps in observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminations can be adjusted in five levels.The magnification of a USB camera differs from the objective magnification. Therefore, a total magnification of the digital system cannot be specified. The screen provides brilliant images without artifacts, as the display has the same resolution as the output image of the camera. With the set of MikroCam and HDMI display, almost any trinocular microscope with camera connection can be upgraded to a digital microscope. This allows observation independently of a PC.The size of the display is optimally chosen so that the microscope user can microscope as usual and view the image simultaneously on the monitor. The display provides optimal image quality with a large viewing angle of 178°! Thus, several people can also view the image without loss of quality.The image from the microscope camera is displayed on the HDMI screen always without delay and with a high refresh rate of 60 FPS. The display via HDMI microscope camera on an HDMI monitor is therefore usually of better quality than using a USB camera on a laptop or PC. This is particularly advantageous when work under microscopic control is to be carried out.Many users also benefit from the improved ergonomics when the image can be viewed on the HDMI display. Especially higher magnifications with their high numerical aperture are uncomfortable for eye problems like floaters. Digital viewing can provide relief here.The display can be powered with the included Y-cable using the same power supply as the camera. A suitable, short, angled HDMI cable is also included, so that cable clutter at the workplace is avoided. The mounting on a MikroCam PRO or MINI is done with two screws.
