Product information "BRESSER Stereo Microscope Science ETD-201 8-50x Trinocular Zoom with MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus Microscope Camera"
The microscope in detail
The BRESSER Science ETD-201 is an optically high-quality reflected and transmitted light stereo microscope.
It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture and forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools as well as for assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.
The particularly wide base with object table and the exceptionally large height adjustment range allow the observation of larger objects. The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each continuously adjustable. The reflected light incidence angle is particularly user-friendly adjustable and lockable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 6.25x stereo zoom objective (0.8x-5x), a continuous magnification range of 8x to 50x is realised. The click-stop zoom locks at predefined positions, so that magnifications can be exactly reproduced, for example for measurements on the microscope. The eyepieces have a field number of 22, allowing a visible field of view between 4.5 and 27.5 mm.
The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and has two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45° as well as a separate, parfocally adjustable camera tube for connecting a C-Mount camera, or MikroCam, up to a 1/2" sensor size.

The microscope camera in detail
The BRESSER MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus impresses with its excellent image quality combined with user-friendly operation. It delivers the microscope image live and without delay as an HDMI signal with Full HD resolution to a monitor or television. An optional 11'' HDMI monitor (Art. No. 5914110) can be mounted directly on the camera and provides brilliant and high-contrast images. Due to the very high light sensitivity, good image quality is ensured even in low light. This model is particularly recommended for darkfield or phase contrast.
The autofocus allows optimal focusing of the camera without using the microscope's focus wheels. This ensures parfocality on various trinocular microscopes. The focusable range extends from position 0, which corresponds to the C-Mount distance, through a maximum forward focus of 5.4 mm, which also reaches the CS-Mount distance, and additionally up to 10.6 mm inward to cover an even larger range. Besides autofocus, the camera can also be manually focused via mouse. Focus adjustment to a specific area is also possible.
The camera functions are operated via mouse directly on the on-screen menu. Measurements can be performed via the on-screen menu, turning your microscope with the MikroCam Pro HDMI Autofocus into a fully functional digital measuring microscope.
The MikroCam PRO HDMI Autofocus offers a wide range of applications, including:
- Documentation
- Evaluation
- Analysis
- Presentation
- Quality control
- Automation
- Machine vision
Additionally, the camera can provide the microscope view in a wireless network via a WiFi module. When connected via HDMI, images and videos can be recorded directly on an SD card (not included). A USB connection to the PC is not provided with this model. For this, we recommend the MikroCam Pro HDMI 5914180 model.
