SPEZIAL ASTRO binoculars from BRESSER are ideal for astronomy and landscape observation.
Thanks to fully multi coated Bak-4 glass material and the extra large objective lens diameter, these binoculars provide bright and high resolution images.
The high 25x magnification it is convenient not only for observing astronomical objects, but is also practical for viewing distant terrestrial objects too. Due to a very high reduction of stray light, by multi coating all air to glass surfaces, the binoculars deliver the best possible performance and excellent contrast.
Diopter compensation and foldable rubber eyecups give eye glass wearers the possibility of making the best use of these optics’ field of view.
With the tripod thread in the lengthened centre axis, the SPEZIAL ASTRO can be mounted onto any photographic tripod. For tripod use you need the optional available tripod adapter (part No. 4914925). The use of a tripod is highly recommended with these binoculars, as at the high magnification of 25x it's difficult to maintain a steady image by hand holding (though this is possible for short periods).

- Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
- Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.

Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

Focusing

The ASTRO & MARINE binoculars from BRESSER are ideal for
astronomy and maritime use, e.g. sailing and water sports enthusiasts. Robust and weatherproof per IPX6 levelThanks to their ergonomic rubber armouring, these binoculars fit securely in the hand and are also well protected against shocks and bumps. The binoculars are waterproof and filled with nitrogen. This effectively prevents fogging of the lenses, even in unfavourable weather conditions. Lightweight with tripod connection threadThe robust, yet very light construction is made possible by the most modern magnesium housing construction. Magnesium is around 35% lighter than aluminium. Due to the moderate 10x magnification and the low weight, these 10x50s are also very well suited for hands-free use. Nevertheless, there is a tripod connection thread on the centre axis. This means that the ASTRO & MARINE model can also be mounted securely on a photo tripod using the tripod adapter (Art.4914925) which is included as part of the package.
Although this is not absolutely necessary with a magnification of 10x,
