We are proud to present the BRESSER Solarix 114/500 - the first all in one Newtonian telescope package that enables you to observe the sun. With a certified quality at a sensational price point.
The telescope arrives completely assembled - observation can start immediately.
It was never easier for the public to observe the night sky and the sun so easily, cheap and - last but not least - safe. The solar filter that was especially designed for this telescope makes it possible. It contains a special foil that protects the eye against all kinds of solar radiation during observations: infrared, ultraviolet and visible light is dampened to a safe level. Only a safe amount of the visible spectrum can pass the filter and creates a wonderful solar image in the eyepiece. The safety feature of this filter was checked by an independent quality assurance company.
Do you want to capture what you see? With the included smartphone holder bracket, you can use your smartphone to easily take colour pictures of celestial objects - like through a telephoto lens!
But the BRESSER Solarix 114/500 is of course also ready to be used for observing astronomical objects in the night sky. The featured accessories are everything you need for an immediate start. The newtonian reflector is equipped with a extensive manual and set up in almost no time. The telescope arrives completely assembled - observation can start immediately.
Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design Newton are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.

Warning notes
- Check the solar filter before every solar observation and ensure that it is not damaged. Hold it against a strong light source to detect any possible cracks and/or holes. Do not use the telescope for solar observation, even if the solar filter is only slightly damaged. In this case, contact the manufacturer for the appropriate replacement parts.
- Always use the included solar filter when observing the sun. Make sure it is correctly attached to the telescope according to the instructions. The use of the solar filter is only intended in connection with this telescope.
- Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
- Check the secure fit of the solar filter before each solar observation. An accidental detachment from the objective opening can lead to immediate and permanent eye damage and blindness.
- If the solar filter cannot be securely attached to the tube, improve the fit by placing several self-adhesive felt strips or similar between the solar filter and the objective opening. Never use the solar filter if it cannot be properly mounted on the telescope. In such a case, always contact our customer service first.
- Be extremely cautious when observing the sun. A brief look through the unprotected optics will immediately cause severe eye damage, potentially leading to complete blindness.
- Children should not look at the sun through the telescope, even with the filter properly installed. Never leave children unsupervised.
- Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
- Do not observe the sun after eye surgeries or other eye conditions without prior medical consultation.
- Wrinkles/creases in the film are normal and do not indicate a product defect.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
- BATTERY WARNING AND SAFETY Safe handling and use of batteries and accumulators Read and follow these instructions before using the battery or accumulator. To the extent permitted by law, failure to comply with these warnings and instructions may result in any damage caused to your product not being covered by the warranty. In this document, the term "batteries" also includes accumulators. Follow these instructions to ensure optimal safety and performance: DO NOT use counterfeit batteries in products. Only use supplied batteries. Use the battery SOLELY for its intended purpose. Keep batteries out of the reach of children and pets. DO NOT use batteries that appear to be damaged, swollen, or modified. Do not use batteries that are leaking, emitting a smell, swollen, melted, or showing dents, rust, cracks, or scratches. The battery should NOT be disassembled, crushed, punctured, shredded, or otherwise tampered with. The battery should NOT be exposed to liquids. The battery should NOT come into contact with metal objects. If metal objects such as jewelry come into prolonged contact with the battery terminals, the battery may become very hot or catch fire. The battery should NOT be stored together with hazardous or flammable materials. Store the battery in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. The battery should NOT be inserted incorrectly when charging. MAKE SURE the battery compartment is empty, dry, and free of dirt before inserting the battery. The battery should NOT be charged in direct sunlight or at extreme temperatures. The battery must be charged at room temperature, typically between 20 °C and 26 °C (68 °F-79 °F). Charging may be temporarily suspended if the battery temperature exceeds 60 °C (140 °F). If the battery is hot but the temperature is under 60 °C (140 °F), the battery will still charge, but more slowly than usual. Avoid dropping the battery or the product with the battery inside. If dropped onto a hard surface, the battery or product may be damaged. If you suspect the battery might be damaged, replace it. Never leave your mobile hotspot plugged into the power supply for more than 24 hours to charge. Let the battery drain and then recharge it. Keeping your mobile hotspot plugged into a charger without draining the battery can damage the battery/device or affect performance. If a battery shows a significantly shorter runtime than when purchased, it has reached the end of its reasonable lifespan. We recommend replacing it. For optimal results and performance, batteries should be replaced after 12 months or earlier depending on usage. Follow local regulations for the disposal of used batteries. Do not throw the battery into fire or water.

With the usage of barlow lenses, you can extend the equivalent focal length of telescopes and hence increase the magnification of your observed targets. Subsequently, you can use lower power eyepieces in Barlows to act as much more powerful eyepieces, but retain the larger ocular size and more comfortable viewing that comes with lower power eyepiece designs.Due to their two lens design, these Barlow lenses provide a brilliant image quality for the whole visual field and are suitable for observations and photography. Adjusting your eyes to the dark surroundings is very important when making astronomical observations.
In dark areas, it is very difficult to use astronomical equipment without a suitable light.
With normal lights, however, the light intensity is more important than protecting your eyes against bright light.
Using these lights at night makes your pupils contract, which can make it difficult for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
The SG-L01, our first astronomy LED lamp, featured a built-in red LED that provided a solution to this problem.
However, the red light did not offer optimal visibility. On our new astronomy LED light, the SG-L02, the LED lights produce warm light to improve visibility.
They also ensure that your eyes stay adapted to the dark.
The LEDs do not emit light in the sensitive range of 555 nm.
The brightness of the white light can be adjusted between 3 and 42 lumen, while the red light can be adjusted between 0.28 and 7.62 lumen.

The BRESSER Biolux NV comes with a wide range of accessories and is an ideal beginners' microscope. A unique feature of these models, the Barlow zoom system is inside the eyepiece tubes: With the barlow lens the magnification can be varied by a factor of 2 in visual observation. This feature, together with 3 objectives and 2 interchangeable wide field eyepieces gives a magnification range from 20x to 1280x. With the mechanical desk you can move your sample precisely even when observing at high magnifications. For optimal illumination a variable LED for transmitted and incident light together with a filter wheel gives the ideal light for all samples. The BRESSER NANO is a light-to-medium-duty alt-azimuth mount with tripod designed to quickly and easily accept small to medium sized refractors, such as the AR-90s, AR-102s, AR-102xs and the ED-80 APO. Lightweight, fast Newtonians will also match up nicely with the BRESSER NANO AZ mount. As long as your telescope does not exceed 8 pounds and has a Vixen-Style Universal Dovetail bar for mounting the telescope to the mount head, you are good to go.
The stainless steel tripod that comes standard with the BRESSER NANO AZ mount has adjustable legs and a wide foot print, which makes the tripod more stable.
