Why do I see everything upside down and mirrored in the finder?

That is normal. Finder scopes are only used to make objects easy to locate. The image orientation does not matter for observation.

What is the difference between an alt-azimuth mount and an equatorial mount?

Alt-azimuth: easy to use, moves horizontally and vertically
Equatorial: enables precise tracking of objects with only one axis – ideal for high magnifications and astrophotography

What minimum apertures do I need for certain objects?

Original BRESSER objective lens solar filter for safe solar observation in the white light spectrum.

Shows a pleasant solar image in yellow/orange and allows the observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. The solar filter can easily be inserted into the telescope opening. Suitable for tube inner diameters of approx. 83.2mm. Suitable for the BRESSER Carbon Look telescopes 4512509 Taurus, 4512909 Taurus, 4780909 Quasar as a spare part or as an extension of the existing accessories.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Never observe the sun without a suitable protective filter!
