FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

If you’re a keen gardener, you’ll know that plants don’t grow on their own. Of all the things that you need in your garden, water is particularly important. Powered by smart technology, the BRESSER Smart Garden Smart Home Irrigation System helps to ensure that your lawn, vegetables and flower beds receive just the right amount of water. In the HomGar app, you can configure up to six watering schedules per day. The smart water timer turns the water on and off automatically at the desired time. In addition, you can also choose from 2 different modes (water and mist) to control the amount of water released by your system.

All measurements are displayed on the weather station’s intuitive colour display, as well as in the app, enabling you to keep track of what’s happening in your garden – even when you’re away from home. The perfect add-on or replacement part for your smart garden system: this BRESSER water timer allows you to automatically control the flow of water to your garden. It can be quickly integrated into your existing smart garden watering system: simply attach it to the tap with a hose, connect it to your weather station (not included), add it to the HomGar app, and pair it with your soil sensor (not included). You can then create your own watering schedules to ensure that your plants are only watered when the soil is dry. In addition, you can choose from two different modes to regulate the flow of water: water and mist.
Overwatering can be prevented by using a soil sensor* (not included), or by activating the rain delay function, which pauses your watering schedules for 24 hours. Of course, you can also use the hose directly as and when you need - for example to water recently planted flowers. The statistics function in the app gives you an overview of your daily and monthly water consumption. In addition, you can also use Alexa or Google Assistant to control the water timer using voice commands.

Weather station with outdoor sensor
The base station can be placed at a distance of up to 80 metres from the wireless outdoor sensor, and displays the outdoor temperature on the built-in screen. When you’re outdoors, you can also view the current temperature on the outdoor sensor’s built-in display.
Monitor the indoor temperature
Thanks to the built-in thermo sensor, the Meteo Temp W weather station also displays the precise indoor temperature to help you maintain a comfortable indoor climate in your living room or study. You can also use the temperature display to help you save energy in the winter: lowering the temperature by 1 degree reduces energy consumption by up to 6%.
Weather forecast function with short-term trend indicator
Sunny, (partly) cloudy, (heavy) rain or snow – the weather station uses six intuitive symbols to display the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours, while the trend arrow shows you the trend for the next few minutes.
Practical frost warning function for cold winter days
The BRESSER weather station also keeps you informed about wintry weather conditions: a snowflake symbols appears on the display when the outdoor temperature falls below 3 °C to warn you about the potential for frosty conditions.
Automatic date and time setting (DCF)
The Meteo Temp W weather station features a date and time display that receives the time automatically from a DCF radio signal (CET time). You can also set the date and time manually to enable use in other time zones.

The weather station combines a compact design with a comprehensive information service. The new, unique colour display offers clear information and an ideal overview in an elegant design. The multifunctional outdoor sensor with its very compact design can be set up in almost any location. A pipe clamp and screws for attachment to masts (pipe diameter approx. 25-33 mm) as well as a stand for level mounting are already included in the scope of delivery! The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and amount of precipitation to the base station. On the display of the base station not only these values, but also a variety of history data can be read. The latter enables the internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours.
