Single linear 2" polarizing filter.

This polarizing filter can be used for example at the Lunt Solar Systems 2" White-Light Herschel-wedge (0558201).

The 2" filter can also be used with the BRESSER microscopes 5804000 and 5806100 for the suppression of reflections (eg on metal components, soldering points). It is connected via the M48 thread.

Herschel-wedge / Solar-wedge for superior White-Light solar observing and imaging. For refractor-telescopes up to 150mm aperture, and with 2'' focuser. Complete system with installed ND3.0 filter.Herschel-Wedges will be used to observe the sun in White-Light. Around 95 % of the sun light will be suppressed by the Herschel Wedge. The remaining sun light will be dimmed by a fix installed ND3.0 grey filter. Lunt Solar Systems Herschel-wedges are installed in a fully closed housing with integrated heat trap. There is no stray light escaping, therefore it is very safe.The difference between Herschel-wedges and normal front mounted filters is, that the filtering takes place just before the eyepiece or camera. This will provide a better contrast and sharpness of the solar image.Furthermore, there is more safety at a Herschel-wedge than at a front mounted filter. A Herschel-wedge can not rip or become holes like a foil. And also it can not drop down from the telescope objective accidentally.Only for use with refractor telescopes up to 150mm aperture:Because the full energy and heat of the sun will be inside the telescope, we advise to use only refractors with a Herschel-wedge. The refractor must not have corrector lenses at the back. Optical elements like corrector lenses, or secondary mirrors of reflector telescopes, become very hot by the concentrated solar energy and could be damaged.Tuning the brightness:Because the Herschel-wedge produce polarized light, you can use a normal polarizing filter at the eyepiece or camera-adapter. BRESSER Advance ICD 10x-160x Zoom Stereo Microscope

The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. BRESSER Science ETD 101 7-45x Zoom Stereo-Microscope

The BRESSER Science ETD 101 is a high-quality stereo microscope with transmitted light function, too. It can be used for observation studies in medicine and health, in farming and forestry, in public security departments, schools and scientific research institutes as well as for inspection, assembling and repair of tiny parts in electronics and precision machine industries. This broad spectrum is due to the comprehensive possibilities of the BRESSER Science ETD 101. The broad furnished base with object stage and the extensive range of adjustable height allow the observation also of larger objects. The instrument has two illuminations (with 10 W halogen lamp each), which can be dimmed separately and can be used in three illumination modes: Transmitted light, reflected light and mixed light illumination. The incident angle of the reflected light illumination can be varied and fixed in a particularly user-friendly way. A pair of changeable wide field eyepieces (WF10x) and a stereo zoom objective (0,7x-4,5x) allow for the magnification range of 7x to 45x. The upright and true sided images are bright, true colored, rich in details and contrast. Naturally, the individual eye relief and the diopter adjustment can be set. LUNT Heating Module for Blocking-Filter

At very cold temperatures, blocking filters may no longer work accurately central in the H-alpha wavelength, which means that the details on the sun become less visible. With this Heating-Module you can counteract this effect and observe the sun in the H-Alpha line optimally even at cold temperatures.The Heating-Module is for use with blocking filters in 90° star-diagonal housing from Lunt Solar Systems. Software The included Explore Capture professional software offers not only the necessary basic functions for image and video capture, but also many helpful special functions for image post-processing and for setting up the guider. Functions such as live image display, exposure settings, white balance, dark image capture, stacking, timelapse recording and much more can be configured individually. Especially the very sophisticated software makes it really easy for you to get started in astrophotography. With the automatic settings you can produce absolutely presentable results without a lot of prior knowledge. Automatic tracking control Connect the camera directly to the ST4 port of your telescope mount and you have a fully automatic tracking control. A corresponding ST-4 connection cable is even included in the camera's scope of delivery. Because of the high light sensitivity of the camera, you will always find a suitable guide star even with very short exposure times. Simple automatic tracking at its best. Connection For the connection to telescopes, guiding scopes or off-axis guiders the camera has a 1.25'' socket with 1.25'' filter thread (M28.5x0.6) and a large T2 connection thread (M42x0.75) directly on the housing. IMPORTANT NOTES: This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10 or 11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding. The autoguider software is not included.
