The BRESSER Photo Adapter 30.5 mm / C-Mount is designed to establish a connection between the 0.5x Reducing lens (Art.-No. 5914005) and the C-Mount MikroCam Adapter (Art.-No. 5942101). Thus a larger image field as well as a higher light intensity can be achieved with a MikroCam. The BRESSER MikroCamII are equipped with a USB 3.0 port, compared to the MikroCam SP. This enables up to 8 times faster data transfers to the PC compared with the USB 2.0 standard. The camera is able to deliver more than 25 frames per second (depending on resolution, exposure time and PC performance). This is especially important when observing live microorganisms. In addition to this, the camera is exceptionally sensitive. Even in low light conditions (high magnifications, contrast methods) the camera can be operated with short exposure times. The MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI is a very compact HDMI camera. No PC or laptop is needed to use it, simply connect to a monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. This makes the camera especially suited for teaching. As a plus, you can also mount the BRESSER HDMI display (item no. 5914120) directly on the camera. Connection via HDMI is easy and the camera is ready to go instantly. No software installation, PC setup etc. is necessary. The lossless data transfer ensures a good image quality and the image is lag free and with a constant high framerate of 60fps. This is especially helpful when digitizing a microscope workplace in QC or production With the included mouse, you can control the camera via 3 distinctive on screen menus (camera control, settings, measurements). To calibrate measurements, please add a calibration slide (e.g. item no. 5916720). The camera is well suited for presentations, lectures etc. because upon startup it is working directly in auto mode with no user input. The camera does not have a start button, it is working directly after power up. Menus and mouse icon are not visible if the mouse is not connected. Please note that this camera does not allow direct PC connection via USB. The USB port is for the mouse input only. The BRESSER 0.5x reducing lens is designed to enlarge the image from a microscope camera. It increases the light intensity and therefore reduces the exposure time. In the case of trinocular microscopes, the adapter usually enables the focus to be matched to the focus of the eyepiece.It is compatible with focusers with a 23.2 mm receptacle. This adapter is specially designed for cameras with sensor sizes of 1/2'' or 1/3''. The connection is made via a 1'' C-mount thread. Photo adapters are used to mount a camera on a microscope. SLR cameras work without their own objective. The magnification is made only by the microscope objectives. A specific T2-ring is necessary!With the BRESSER photo adapter 23 mm reflex cameras can be connected to microscopes with a eyepiece tube diameter of 23 mm. The camera is connected to the photo adapter via an optionally available T2 ring. The photo adapter is put into the eyepiece tube of the microscope instead of the eyepiece.
