FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

If your existing base station is in the living room, you can place a second base station in the kitchen or your child’s bedroom to view your local weather data in an additional room. The base station features a built-in thermo-hygro sensor, which measures the ambient temperature and humidity and displays a smiley symbol to indicate the quality of the indoor climate. You can then take effective measures to prevent the risk of mould or dry air.
The additional base station is also ideal as a bedside clock. It features a built-in backlight that can be dimmed or switched off completely to ensure you get a good night’s sleep. The additional BRESSER base station allows you to respond to unusual situations like these with utmost flexibility, as two stations mean two separate measured results for indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Position the device in a critical location and the integrated sensor will measure the current room temperature, humidity and air pressure at that location. A graphical room climate indicator will alert you when the air is optimal, too dry or too damp. In addition, you can also set an independent maximum/minimum value alarm with audible and light signal on the additional station itself.

Built-in alarm

The new BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station with 7-in-1 sensor offers a very comprehensive range of weather data. The multifunctional outdoor sensor can easily be installed with the included mounting accessories!
The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station.
The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station offers a smart feature for this. The indoor climate indicator informs about current indoor climate conditions by means of the room climate indicator.
For all ''moon addicts'' the different moon phases are also displayed. An alarm clock with snooze function is also included in the range of functions.
This station can also be connected to the mulitlingual portal AWEKAS* (*EU customers only) . Optionally you can transmit your weather data to AWEKAS or call up your weather data worldwide. Transfer data such as air temperature, humidity, soil temperature and humidity, pool water temperature to your smart home home control system.
