BRESSER Pirsch 25-75x100 45° Spotting Scope

The BRESSER Pirsch Gen II spotting scopes are primarily intended for nature observers. Equipped with a light-intense, fully broadband multi-coated 80 mm lens, they allow higher magnifications even at twilight. This spotting scope is also equipped with the high-quality UR coating for brighter and higher-contrast images. Together with the waterproof and nitrogen-filled housing and the non-reflective armouring, nature observers can determine e.g. bird species in any weather, even at long distances. Photography Enthusiasts of digital photography will find also a reliable tool in the Pirsch series: together with the DSLR adapters 49-20002 or 49-14911 almost all digital cameras or smartphones can be connected to this telescope. Robust materials The focus and eyepieces are made of sturdy metal, ensuring long-lasting pleasure when using the Pirsch spotting scope range. The rubber armouring is manufactured to ensure a firm grip and protection against knocks during use in the field. Compensation The Pirsch spotting scopes of Gen. II are all equipped with the new UR coating. This special coating ensures better light transmission and therefore provides a bright image even in difficult lighting conditions.   10:1 DeLuxe focusing An important factor in optical devices is optimal focusing. Here, we at BRESSER have paid great attention to fast and easy focusing as well as very precise focusing. Thus, the focus of the Pirsch spotting scope can be adjusted quickly and down to the last cm. This is ensured by the 10:1 ratio of the focus. Waterproof and nitrogen filled All Pirsch models are waterproof and nitrogen filled, so you have the perfect optical companion with you in all weather conditions. Rain or fog present no obstacle to using the Pirsch. Fogging from the inside in case of large temperature differences is prevented by the nitrogen filling and thus ensures that the device is always ready for use and provide clear views, no matter what the prevailing weather conditions are. The H-alpha wavelength is the most impressive way to observe the sun, showing protuberances at the sun's edge, filaments and flares on the surface, and much more. An internal Etalon filter achieves a bandwidth of <0.7 Angstrom with the innovative air pressure tuning system Pressure-Tuner. Tuning is done by slightly changing the air pressure in a pressure chamber inside the telescope. This changes the refractive index of the air, making it easy to tune to the H-alpha line. The pressure tuner guarantees a homogeneous image, without central obstruction, and a permanently protected Etalon without erosion. A set of collimating lenses installed in the telescope ensures best performance.Fine adjustment is achieved with a solid 2 inch R&P focuser with 10:1 reduction.Blocking-filter is the B1800. The B1800 is very good for visual solar observing and also for photography.The star diagonal in which the blocking filter is installed, is equipped as standard for 1.25 inch eyepieces and with a T2 camera connection.Observing the starry night sky:The H-Alpha Etalon system can be removed from the telescope in a few easy steps thanks to its modular design. With the additionally available conversion kit (item number 0551330) the 2-lens ED Apo refractor can then be used as a normal telescope with 80mm aperture and 560mm focal length for observation and photography of the night sky. The FPL-53 doublet lens offers an low colour aberration image.
