The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be moved on the long rod of the stand, which allows you to observe big samples up to a size of 22 cm.The angle of the bright LED reflected light illumination can be adjusted as necessary. The extra bright and even LED transmitted light provides a flat background when viewing transparent samples. The switch allows you to select reflected light, transmitted light or a combination of both to match your requirements. Brightness is adjustable with the dimmer. The bright light does not heat up, which allows you to observe also living specimens over a longer period of time. The long lasting LED is powered by a 5V AC adapter (EU/UK). The power cable comes with a USB plug.Fully equipped, the Advance ICD covers an exceptionally wide range of magnifications and is therefore suitable for a variety of tasks. Besides the included 2x lens there is also a selection of other auxiliary objectives available. This Full HD eyepiece camera lets you capture photos and videos directly through your microscope. The MikrOkular LF fits either in place of an eyepiece or into the microscope’s third tube. With the included adapter rings, it can be used with almost any microscope as an eyepiece replacement. If your microscope has a built-in C-mount camera connection, you’ll need the Microscope Photo Adapter 30.5mm / C-Mount (Article No.: 5942030). The downloadable Windows software is user-friendly, making it ideal even for beginners. Along with image and video capture, it also includes a measurement function. Whether for hobbies, school, studies, or professional use, it’s a great tool for documentation. Compared to the MikrOkular Full HD, the integrated reduction optics provide around seven times the image field area. The camera's field of view is approximately the same as that of a 10x eyepiece of a student microscope. Capture 4K video with the BRESSER MikroCamII 9MP 4K microscope camera. The video can be up to 30 fps depending on the PC used. The camera uses a global shutter, which captures moving objects without distortion. The big image sensor (14.13 x 7.45mm) captures a big field of view. The high light sensitivity of the Sony® IMX305 CMOS-sensor produces excellent images even when using darkfield or phase contrast.The BRESSER MikroCamLabII software includes a variety of useful functions, e.g. measuring in live mode (optional calibration slide needed), mosaic/stitching, focus stacking (for extended depth of field). All camera parameters (exposure time, gain, white balance) can be set manually.Mosaic and focus stacking can be done in live mode, which gives instant results even for unexperienced users. The method is also much faster than the normal procedure where a set of images is rendered afterwards. To use the mosaic function in live mode, a crosstable / mechanical desk is highly recommended to move the sample.The big camera sensor is not compatible with all microscope models. It might lead  to vignetting (dark edges). To compensate this, a 1.0x optical adapter (item code 5914001) is recommended.This camera will not work with the ETD-201 stereo microscope as the microscope will illuminate only a part of the sensor.
