FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited
Product information "BRESSER MeteoCast Pico Weather Station"
With the BRESSER MeteoCast Pico Color Weather Station including thermo-hygro external sensor, you'll keep a cool head in any weather. The compact temperature and humidity meter with weather forecast shows you the current climate conditions indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the Max./Min. values are stored for your meteorological review.
Being prepared for any weather thanks to the weather forecast
Raincoat for rainy days, or rather a sun hat against the heatwave? With the MeteoCast Pico Weather Station with outdoor sensor, this question is answered in a flash. The device shows you a graphical weather forecast with 5 intuitively understandable symbols.
Measured directly on site – by the weather station with outdoor sensor
The weather station comes with a wireless sensor that combines thermometer and hygrometer. Once the perfect location is found up to 80 m away from the base station, it quickly sends the precise measurement data. Thus, outside temperature and humidity reliably appear on the base's display. Conveniently, the sensor itself has a small display, so you can read the values directly on site independently of the base station.
Always keep an eye on the indoor climate with the weather station
Indoors temperature and humidity are just as relevant as outdoors. Because a good indoor climate is important for our health and well-being. Therefore, the base station itself also acts as a temperature and humidity meter. This way, you can decide based on the specific measurement values whether and when the heating or air conditioning should start working.
Weatherproof start of the day – with the MeteoCast Pico Color Weather Station
If you want to utilize the full potential of the weather station, let the practical alarm function incl. snooze button start your day. A quick glance at the weather forecast and outdoor temperature quickly reveals where to look for the right outfit for the day inside the wardrobe. And to ensure you start the morning on time, the time is set automatically via the DCF time signal.

This set of 4 compact NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Tempy Thermo/Hygrometer sensors is perfect for monitoring the temperature and humidity in different rooms and maintaining a healthy indoor climate.
Effectively prevent dry and moist air
Heating your home is a must in areas with cold winters. However, heating can also result in dry air, which can cause chapped lips and cracked skin. At the other end of the spectrum, high humidity can rapidly lead to mould forming.
These thermometers and hygrometers are the perfect way to ensure that you maintain an optimal temperature and humidity in your home. In addition to displaying precise measurements of the temperature and humidity, the sensor also features a comfort indicator, which displays a smiley to indicate how comfortable the current conditions are based on the measured readings.
The temperature measurements can also help you to save energy during the winter. Lowering the temperature by 1°C reduces the amount of energy used by up to 6% – good for the environment and your wallet!
Clever design for tabletops or wall mounting
Featuring a chic and compact design, these temperature and humidity sensors are ideal for living rooms, offices and any other areas of your home. Each sensor comes with an elegant stand – perfect for desks, sideboards or windowsills. They can also be wall-mounted – simply slide your finger through the stand and remove the magnetic back panel to access the hook above the hidden battery compartment.
