The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible.  Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for. Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well. Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Please note that Newtonian reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. The Mount The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo Mount is equipped with a modern and highly precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi controller unit that provides all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors are directly connected to this unit via cable, and an ST-4 compatible autoguider port is also included. The control system supports micro-stepping for precise tracking. Intuitive operation via app and graphical star map The ExploreStars app, developed specifically for the PMC-Eight system, impresses with a very well-designed, intuitive graphical interface. The current alignment stars for initializing the control and all sky objects in the database are displayed as a star map with additional text information. All of these objects can be conveniently viewed and selected. Powerful controller unit with Open GoTo for customization The heart of the controller unit is a completely autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi Ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP functionality. We now proudly present the second generation of this telescope, the Bresser NT-203s/800 with Hexafoc and fast parabolic main mirror. The Bresser NT-203s/800 f3.9 will deliver you deeper images due to its - compared to 8" f/5 systems - oversized primary mirror and therefore faster optical system with the same exposure time. The big 85 mm secondary prevents vignetting for optimal illumination The excellent 2,5" Hexafoc focuser also does not cause vignetting due to its large diameter and makes focussing a joy - the smoothness and shifting-free operation sets new standards in this price class. This groundbreaking focuser, tube rings with 44mm universal standard dovetail and camera mounting feature and a high-end finderscope with haircross and laser-engraved scale  leave nothing to desire even for demanding astrophotographers. The NT-203s/800 Hexafoc has a classical tube construction with an aluminium tube. The focuser can be upgraded with a 10:1 reduction (part No. 0625720) without problems. Also prepared for use with the HR Coma Corrector (part No. 0510330) which eliminates coma, field-curvature and astigmatism.Mount and Tripod. The BRESSER EXOS 2 is a rugged mount with high rigidity and precision tracking for visual observation and astrophotography. The tripod is extremely rigid to suppress vibrations really well. This model is very well machined and has an illuminated polar finder scope and precise graduated circles. A powered twoaxis control (BRESSER Exos Duo) or a GoTo-Kit is available as an optional extra. The BRESSER EXOS 2 can take the weight - depending on length and use of up to 13 kg. This allows you to use refractors of up to 152 mm aperture and mirror telescopes of up to 203 mm aperture.Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design Newton are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight.
