The Telescope The BRESSER Messier NT-150 is distinguished by its good portability and razor-sharp optics with a parabolic primary mirror. The 150 mm aperture allows you to observe even smaller nebulae in the vastness of space. Discover the remnants of a massive star explosion from the year 1054 in the Taurus constellation or trace the glowing filaments of the Great Orion Nebula. Spot the famous Pinwheel Galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major or find the Dumbbell Nebula in the constellation Vulpecula. The Mount The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo mount is equipped with a modern and highly precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi controller unit, providing all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors are directly connected to this unit via cable, and an ST-4 compatible autoguider interface is also available. Additionally, the control system supports micro-stepping to ensure precise tracking. Intuitive control via app and graphical star map The specially developed ExploreStars app for the PMC-Eight system impresses with an intuitive and visually appealing interface. The currently available alignment stars for control initialization, as well as all celestial objects in the database, are displayed as a star map with additional text information. All these objects can be easily viewed and selected. Powerful controller unit with Open GoTo for customization The heart of the controller unit consists of a fully autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi Ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP function. This enables remote operation via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. The Open GoTo system also allows for custom firmware to be written and uploaded to the controller unit. This enables customized adjustments to the device's functions and the creation of custom object lists. Polar finder included The pre-installed polar finder scope included in the package allows for quick and precise polar alignment and long exposure times without unwanted star trails. Double radial groove ball bearings in both axes ensure precise, smooth motion, and the RA axis bearing has been optimized to reduce backlash. Additionally, the tripod is reinforced to further suppress vibrations. The BRESSER EXOS-2 can be loaded with up to 13 kg of optics for purely visual use depending on the length and purpose!Nebula: the powerful and flexible Goto systemWith the new Nebula Goto system, set off for new astronomical shores. This system offers several control options. You can operate the mount directly via its own Nebula control interface using your smartphone or tablet (iOS and Android supported). Alternatively, you can also use a planetarium software such as SkySafari. Manual control remains an option as well. For this, a hand box for minor corrections or simple control commands is included.Furthermore, with the BRESSER Nebula Goto Kit, you can connect your laptop or PC directly via WIFI or LAN cable (recommended for faster data transfer) to the Nebula control unit. This dovetail rail is suitable for mounting on BRESSER MESSIER 6 , 8 and 10 inch Dobson telescopes. The dovetail rail is manufactured according to the GP standard and therefore these Dobson telescope tubes can be used on any telescope mounting with the appropriate carrying capacity. The prism rail is 200mm long and therefore offers sufficient clearance for secure mounting on the telescope mount. In combination with the optionally available carrying handle Art. THE PMC-EIGHT GOTO SYSTEM JUST AWARDED A SKY AND TELESCOPE HOT PRODUCT FOR 2018. The Explore Scientific EXOS2-GT with PMC-8 Electronics is quite unique and special. Most of the serious amateur mounts on the market today offer single processors. The PMC-8 electronics are extremely robust. They include a 2-Channel Multi-Processor Micro-controller with 8 CPUs that run independently and are completely deterministic in their behavior, thus the name PMC-8. Within this multi-processor system is a 64 Kbyte EEPROM Non-Volatile Memory bank used to store parameters; a Wireless Ethernet 10/100 with full IP function which permits operation from anywhere using a browser, ASCOM, or APP over the web or serial port; and Non-Volatile Memory used to store user selected parameters. The electronics also includes an Auto-Guide port (ST4 contact input) and features the only wireless ASCOM driver on the market. The belt driven system uses 2 timing pulleys (1-45 groove and 1-10 groove) with fiberglass re-enforced neoprene belt connected to a Nema11 bi-polar stepper .67 amps 12ncm motor then connected to the worm. Precise ball bearings in both axes ensures minimal backlash at all nine possible tracking speeds. The included battery pack (12 V) takes eight size "D" batteries. The head rests on a very tough and rigid stainless steel tripod with adjustable 2" legs from 26.8" to 42.5" and can support up to 28 lbs. of equipment. This system is all controlled from a tablet, notebook or desktop pc with 7" display and WIN8.1, WIN10+11, iOS or Android 4.4 with a beautiful full graphical user interface using our very own ExploreStars OpenGoto® Software. The ExploreStars OpenGoto® Software has the same basic functions as most all other mounts on the market today. ExploreStars is a free App downloadable from the Microsoft App store and GooglePlay. The basic download includes a standard 2 star or 3 star alignment procedure, over 70,000 star database, the Messier Catalog and Solar System objects. The software interface features a Classic four-button pattern for guiding, centering, moving and slewing on the touch screen of your tablet or phone. Pull-down menus open to offer the intuitive 2 star and 3 star alignment procedure, selection of the various catalogs, guided tours, the sync button, the park position, search feature and the coordinate input screen to enter RA and DEC coordinate information.
