The BRESSER Messier EXOS 100 GOTO Mount is a complete German equatorial mount for telescopes and cameras. As a GoTo mount, it automatically finds celestial objects and positions the telescope accordingly. It is controlled via a hand controller with display and keypad. With a payload capacity of up to 5 kg, it is suitable for both visual observations and astrophotography.
Stable setup for telescope and camera
A holder for Vixen-style dovetail plates securely accommodates telescopes or cameras. The stainless steel tripod with height-adjustable legs can be adapted to the respective observing site. A counterweight weighing 2 kg balances the weight of the telescope. A battery compartment for eight C batteries powers the mount independently of a fixed mains socket.
Polar alignment made easy
An integrated circular bubble level indicates the exact horizontal position of the tripod. An integrated polar finder tunnel enables rough alignment with the celestial north pole. The setting can then be further improved using fine adjustment screws for polar altitude and azimuth. For particularly accurate polar alignment, an optional polar finder scope (Art. No. 0456103) is available. This allows the GoTo function, tracking and astrophotography to work even more precisely.
Automatic object search with the hand controller
The display and keypad of the hand controller form the central control interface of the mount. For initialisation, you perform a star alignment with one, two or three stars. In doing so, you centre the suggested stars in the eyepiece and confirm the position. After successful alignment, more than 100,000 stored objects are available to choose from, which you can conveniently slew to at the touch of a button. These include planets, constellations as well as Messier, NGC, IC, Sh2 and SAO objects. You can also save your own celestial coordinates and slew to them precisely.

BRESSER Full HD Deep Sky Camera with autoguider: a great camera for different types of astrophotography and for autoguiding. Not only suitable for planets, but also for deep-sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Dedicated ToupSky Astro Imaging software supports video preview, video recording, video processing, image capture and processing, dark field correction and raw data output. Easy to use, but with professional results.
One of the main features of the new backlit SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor is its high light sensitivity, which makes it possible to detect deep-sky objects without active cooling. SONY has increased the quantum efficiency at 533 nm wavelength up to 77%, which is much better than other CMOS sensors have been able to achieve in the past.
Connect this camera to a guidescope and attach the camera's built-in ST-4 port, directly to your telescope's equatorial mount guide port and autoguide - using many popular audioguiding programs (PHD, Guidedog and more). Autoguiding enables you to take accurate pictures with long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to the extra light-sensitive camera, you now always have a suitable guide star to hand, even using short exposure times. An ST-4 protocol connection cable is also included. Simple automatic tracking at its best.
You can use this camera with all guiding telescopes, or off-axis guiders that accept a 1.25 " tube, 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) or C-mount adapter thread (1 "x1 /32").
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This is not a stand-alone guider camera. You always need a Windows 10/11 computer to take pictures and for autoguiding.

Universal mounting rail for mounting a photo camera on an EQ mount with Vixen GP mount for astrophotography. The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC camera dovetail rail is made of die-cast aluminium. The dovetail-shaped mounting rail is 45 mm wide (similar to the Vixen dovetail style) and 280 mm long. The matt black anodized surface has a laser engraved scale on one side with a fine graduation with 2 mm increments. This makes it easier to determine the center of gravity when placing the camera on the mounting head. To protect the clamping surface there is a stainless steel clamping plate on the opposite side. The dovetail plate is equipped with rubber inserts at 3 positions. This allows a secure mounting of the camera equipment and prevents unintentional slipping and twisting. The mounting rail has a screw fastening with 1/4 inch photo thread, which is suitable for almost all commercially available camera systems. The screw attachment can be used in 3 different elongated hole positions to adjust a perfect balance. In addition, an adapter from 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch photo thread is also included, so that ball heads with the larger thread version can also be used directly. The camera mounting rail weighs only 250 grams. Suitable for all EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC and BRESSER mounts and also mounts of other brands that accept the popular Vixen-GP dovetail rail.
