The Telescope
For planetary observation, the BRESSER Messier AR-127L Telescope is an optimal instrument. Admire the structures within Jupiter’s cloud bands, fine grooves, and craters on the surface of the moon, and even Martian features, including the ice-capped poles of our neighboring planet! Observe the dance of Jupiter’s moons around the planet and spot the greenish glow of Uranus far beyond Saturn's orbit. With its combination of large aperture and long focal length, the BRESSER Messier AR-127L Telescope delivers sharp, high-contrast images that will impress you each time. Moreover, with the high-quality, secure solar filter, you can safely observe sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. (Warning: Never point the telescope at the sun without a solar filter!)
Look forward to a high-quality telescope for nighttime and solar observation!
The Mount
The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo Mount is equipped with a modern and highly precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi controller unit that provides all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors connect directly to this unit via cables, and an ST-4 compatible autoguider interface is also available. Additionally, the control system supports microstepping to ensure precise tracking.
Intuitive operation via app and graphic star map
The custom-developed ExploreStars app for the PMC-Eight system offers a visually appealing, intuitive user interface. The app displays all available alignment stars for initializing the control and all celestial objects in the database on a star map with additional text information. All objects can be easily viewed and selected.
Powerful controller unit with Open GoTo for customization The controller unit is powered by a fully autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi Ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP functionality. This setup enables remote operation via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. Thanks to the Open GoTo system, you can also write and upload your own firmware to the controller unit, allowing for customized functionality and the creation of custom object lists, etc.
Polar finder included
The polar finder scope, included and pre-mounted, allows for quick and precise alignment and enables long exposure times without unwanted star trails. The integrated LED illumination further enhances the usability of the polar finder.
