How Temperature Measurement Helps Save Energy

The BRESSER lightning detector keeps you informed during stormy weather. It displays a light signal when it detects a lightning strike within a range of approximately 40 kilometres. To get the most out of the lightning detector, you can connect it to your BRESSER weather centre: from there, you can view the time since the last lightning strike, including the estimated distance, as well as the number of lightning strikes per hour. And to ensure that the lightning sensor is configured to your surroundings, you can choose from 3 different sensor sensitivity levels.

The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which provides reliable data for 7 local weather measurements: temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. The measurements are then sent to the base station within a range of up to 150 metres. The large solar panel is easily brought into the perfect position. The built-in battery stores the solar energy to power the outdoor sensor in your garden or on your house or garage roof.

The new BRESSER Wi-Fi colour Weather Station with a 5-in-1 professional sensor offers a wide range of data in a compact device. The advanced, multifunctional outdoor sensor is easy to mount with the supplied mounting accessories.
The outdoor sensor transmits measurements for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation to the base station at a frequency of 868 MHz.
The clearly structured 5.7" colour display on the base station also displays a range of historical data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by graphical symbols.
You can also use the Wi-Fi function to access your local weather data via Weather Underground. The Wi-Fi function also enables Internet time synchronisation and firmware updates.
There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures below -3 °C. A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER Wi-Fi colour weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate.
