If there’s something in the air, it’s probably not very good for us. This could be formaldehyde (HCHO) or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), which can enter our ambient air through things like furniture, materials, tobacco smoke, paints or adhesives. With the BRESSER HCHO + VOC Sensor, you can keep an eye on the air quality and take targeted measures to improve the situation. The integrated LC display of the sensor displays precise formaldehyde readings as well as the VOC level in the air.
Already have a compatible weather station from BRESSER? Then you can quickly connect the HCHO + VOC sensor and start to display the readings there as well.

It takes no time to install: Establish the power supply, take the mounting materials from the packaging and fit the wireless sensor at your preferred spot as normal. The existing base station will connect to the replacement external sensor automatically as normal. And if the two devices can’t find one another? The display also shows the graphical weather trend and perceived temperature using the readings from the sensor (not included). Based on this data, you can then decide what to wear for the day. Featuring a built-in backlight that can be switched on and off, the display also shows the other data from your 5-in-1 outdoor sensor (not included). This include the wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation, as well the heat index, dew point, Beaufort scale and historical data. Great feature for frosty days: The base station also has an ice warning function that sounds the alarm 30 minutes earlier when the temperature drops below -3 °C.

The sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, amount of precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity to the base station via 868 MHz frequency. The console's clearly structured 5.7" colour display shows a large variety of measured local data as well as your station's historically measured values. A reliable local weather forecast is calculated and displayed using weather symbols on the console display for the upcoming 12h. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via online platforms such as "AWEKAS", ''Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. Furthermore, the WIFI function enables Internet time synchronization and firmware updates. You can set a temperature alarm for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated to warn of frost/ice.
