BRESSER Dovetail rail 200mm for Messier (Vixen/GP)
This dovetail rail is suitable for mounting on BRESSER MESSIER 6 , 8 and 10 inch Dobson telescopes. The dovetail rail is manufactured according to the GP standard and therefore these Dobson telescope tubes can be used on any telescope mounting with the appropriate carrying capacity. The prism rail is 200mm long and therefore offers sufficient clearance for secure mounting on the telescope mount. In combination with the optionally available carrying handle Art. No. 4940150, these Dobson telescope tubes can also be easily transported because the carrying handle is mounted in the centre of gravity of the telescope. This dovetail rail is also suitable as spare part for all other MESSIER telescopes with 200mm dovetail rail. BRESSER Messier 6'' Planetary Dobson Telescope
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 6 inch Planetary Dobson is something very special. Despite its low price, it offers a variety of functions and quality, which you sometimes look for in the considerably more expensive devices in vain. With an aperture diameter of 150 mm and a focal length of 1200 mm of this high quality BRESSER newtonian optics, the observation of the moon, the planets and planetary nebulae is particularly well possible.  Craters and grooves of the moon as well as the fast changing shadows cast by the so-called terminator line are exciting observation targets. Saturn with its impressive ring, Jupiter with its bands of clouds and the movement of its easily visible moons, the crescent shape of Venus and the glowing red Mars are good examples of what this telescope can be used for. Because of the long basic focal length you can easily achieve the high magnifications required for this purpose with this telescope. You do not need expensive special eyepieces. In short, this is a telescope primarily for detailed observation. Nevertheless bright deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula or the galaxies Messier 81 and 82 etc. can be observed as well. Also photography is no problem with this tube. Here is another strength of this telescope: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and put them on a EQ mount with an optionally available dovetail rail - and nothing more stands in the way of astrophotography. The included eyepiece adapter has the common T2 connection thread (M42x0.75mm), to which almost every standard camera can be attached. Only the camera specific T2 adapter ring is additionally required. Of course, also common USB planetary cameras with 1.25 inch or 2 inch plug diameter can be used directly with this telescope. With the original equipment you can observe immediately - an optical 6x30 viewfinder and a 25 mm SPL eyepiece are included. For those who want to transport the device as compact as possible, the new 6'' BRESSER Messier Planet Dobson makes it very easy - the rocker box can be disassembled in a few easy steps, because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. So a bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat package of boards. A telescope whose versatility, performance and user-friendliness set new standards in this price class. Please note that Newtonian reflector telescopes are very good for astronomical observations of the starry sky, but are not well suited for observing nature and landscapes during the day. For nature and landscape observations we therefore recommend BRESSER lens telescopes. FEATURES Optical design: reflector telescopeMirror diameter: 150 mm / focal length: 1200 mm / F/8Maximum recommended magnification: 300xTelescope for night and solar observation High quality BRESSER Newton optics Ideal telescope for planets, moon, double stars and planetary nebulae Sun observation through the included sun filter possibleStable and smooth 2 inch 50.8mm Rack and Pinion focuser Main mirror made of special glass with low thermal expansion Easy to move metal tube for balancing Demountable rocker box with accessory tray Tube mounting on altitude wheels using tube clamps Use of the optics also on other mounts Different sized adjustment and counter screws on the mirror cell Viewing height at zenith: approx. 115cm (suitable for children and teenagers) Tube weight: 8.3 kg Basic weight: 7,8 kg Total weight: 16,1 kg Dimensions ready to use telescope: 45 x 45 x 128 cm Shipping dimensions 1 carton: 47x47x84cm, 18kg SCOPE OF DELIVERY Optical tube Dobson Telescope Mount (disassembled for self assembly) Aperture Solar Filter Optical 6x30 viewfinder 25mm SuperPlössl eyepiece (Ø 31.7 mm / 1.25 inch') 1 Extension tube 25mm for 2 inch focuser 1 Eyepiece adapter diameter 31.7 to 50.8 mm 2 Tube clamps 2 Altitude wheels

BRESSER Messier 8'' Dobsonian
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 8'' dobsonian is simply a breakthrough. Despite of its low price this telesccope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telecopes. The optical diameter of 203mm (8'') does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. With that telescope those objects are beginning to show structures: globular clusters are no longer only fuzzy blobs, but are resolved into masses of individual stars. Nebulae, that can only be barely detected in smaller scopes, reveal structures within. The telescope is setting a new standard in versatility: the excellent Hexafoc focuser boosts a free diameter of 65mm (2,5'') so that you do not have vignetting in big widefield eyepieces that is caused by smaller focuser barrels. The big altitude wheels handle those big, heavy eyepieces without problems - and when you intend to load even more (like a binocular viewer with two eyepieces) then you can move the tube in its tube rings and achieve balance within seconds. The excellent rigidity of the focuser makes focusing a snap - even for astrophotography. This is another virtue of this highly versatile telescope system: you can remove the altitude wheels from the tube rings, attach a dovetail and use the optical tube on a equatorial mount for astrophotography - in minutes. The focuser is handling even heavy cameras tilt and shifting-free. You are extremely demanding in your image sharpness? No problem - with the optional 10:1 gear reduction sharp images are easy. If you consider, that the focuser is that part of the telescope that is used most often, you will recognize the quantum leap this Hexafoc represents in a telescope of this price range. With the included standard accessories (6x30 finder and 25mm SPL-eyepiece) the telescope is ready for observing. If you need to transport or store the telescope as compact as possible you will like this: the rocker box of the 8'' BRESSER Messier assembles and disassembles extremely easy and fast due to the use of metal standard furniture fasteners. So you can transform the bulky rocker box into a handy flat package of boards. This telescope is setting a new standard in usability, versatility and performance in its price class. Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design Newton are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing. BRESSER Messier 6" Dobson
NEW - now including a high-quality aperture Solar-filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planet transits. Great telescope for night and solar observation. The BRESSER Messier 6'' dobsonian is simply a breakthrough. Despite of its low price this telesccope offers a versatility and quality rivaling a lot more expensive telecopes. Not only for beginners - also enthusiastic and experienced amateur astronomers love this high perfomance and compact telescope for traveling and to discover the night sky. The main goal of this telescope is the quick setup and the ease of use. Simply put the Messier 6'' Dobson telescope on a table in your backyard, point the telescope to your target object and you are ready to start your observation. The Messier 6'' Dobson is almost pre-assembled ex factory which means you can start within minutes. With the included standard accessories (LED-finder, 25mm and 9mm Kellner eyepieces and Moonfilter) the telescope is ready for observing. The inbuild compass and circular level speeds up the telescopes orientation. The optical diameter of 150mm (6'') does not restrict your observations on solar system objects like the moon or the planets - you can reach farther into the sky and explore globular and open clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Finding and observing is much easier with that light gathering richfield telescope. Bresser also has equipped these dobsonians with a high quality parabolic main mirror which offers a much better scharpness and contrast than other telescopes with a simple spherical main mirror. In addition, this telescope has a particularly large secondary mirror of 55mm in diametre for ideal illumination of the image field. The 6'' Dobsonian is also equipped with a large 2.0'' focuser, which allows the use of 2.0'' eyepieces with even larger fields of view. Due to the included eyepiece adapter 2'' to 1.25'', all 1.25'' eyepieces can of course be used. The optical tube can easily be moved inside the tube rings in order to find the optimal balance and observing position. This is another virtue of this highly versatile telescope system: Remove the optical tube from the dobsonian telescope mount and use the optics on a equatorial mount - in minutes. This telescope is setting a new standard in usability, versatility and performance in its price class. Please note: Reflector telescopes with optical design “Newton” are very good for astronomical observing at the starry night sky. But these telescopes are not well usable for observing landscape and nature during daylight. Therefore we suggest BRESSER refractor (lens) telescopes for landscape and nature observing.
