The BRESSER Biolux NV comes with a wide range of accessories and is an ideal beginners' microscope. A unique feature of these models, the Barlow zoom system is inside the eyepiece tubes: With the barlow lens the magnification can be varied by a factor of 2 in visual observation. Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary.The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy.The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. The Bresser cover slips have a size of 22 x22 mm and a thickness range from 0,13 – 0,17 mm. They are used to cover the sample on the slide.
A thin and even sample is necessary for observations with high magnification.
These cover slips are designed to work with all objectives that have the thickness of 0,17 mm included in their optical design. Usually you find this number printed on the objective.

The BRESSER USB Digital Microscope DST-1028 5MP enables easy and convenient observation of your specimen on the computer with detailed images. The digital handheld microscope is especially suitable for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components, but also plants, insects and much more. In addition to applications in school and hobby, the digital microscope is also suitable for tasks in quality assurance.
The device features high-quality optics with continuous zoom. This enables documentation of the specimen between 10x and 280x magnifications. Depending on the object to be examined, the appropriate magnification can always be selected. With its ring light, the digital incident light microscope ensures optimal illumination and high-contrast images of your specimen. The ring light consists of eight LEDs. The brightness can be conveniently controlled with the dimmer, which is integrated in the USB connection cable.
The microscope has a stable, adaptable metal stand, which can be adjusted in height depending on the object height and magnification used. This makes it possible to examine both larger and very flat objects (e.g. printing documents).

Uses
The BRESSER digital microscope is perfect as a workshop microscope, such as for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components. It’s also useful for measurements, quality control of surfaces or testing of raw materials with the large field of vision and the right magnification through the high-quality zoom lens. The measuring microscope also allows for biological examination of plants and insects in detail on the high-resolution, movable 17.8 cm (7”’) colour LCD screen. The perfect tools for the job – such as for identifying plant diseases and pests in horticulture and agriculture. The powerful lens offer amazing insights into the microcosm, including in school and amateur use.
With the enclosed 100 mm extension for the tripod, you can also examine workpieces located at height, or benefit from the large field of vision up to max. 34 x 70 mm and a working distance of up to 195 mm.

In order to illuminate the objects that you are examining evenly, without shadows, the reflected-light microscope has 3 light sources: 1 ring light with 6 LEDs and 2 gooseneck LED spotlights. The brightness of the lights can be easily controlled via the LED touch bar.
Recording function
Extensive analyses easily and efficiently: With the integrated camera, you can document your examinations in photo and video format. Using the remote control can also help to prevent camera shake. With the click of the mouse, the recordings can then be saved to a Micro SD card (up to 64 GB, not included) via the on-screen menu. No need for a PC or other external device for your work.

The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample.The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help.The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable.
