FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited
Product information "BRESSER ClimaTemp Thermo-Hygrometer 6-piece Set"
The ideal room climate not only has positive effects on our well-being, it is also good for our health. The two critical values which determine the room climate are temperature and relative humidity.
If for instance the humidity is too low the effects can be burning eyes, chapped lips as well as dry nasal mucosa, which reduces our ability to provide protection against inhaled pathogens.
On the other hand, if the humidity is too high there is a risk of mould formation. This can also be prevented thanks to the indicator.
With the practical 6 piece ClimaTemp Hygro Indicator Set Thermo-/Hygrometer you now have the control over the room climate in all the rooms you spend most of your time in (e.g. living room, bedroom, kitchen, office and children's rooms).
Next to the exact measured values for the room temperature (°C) and humidity (%) the indicator also shows in symbolic form, whether these values are within the recommended range or if there is a need for action.

Double check: The BRESSER Climate Smile thermometer/hygrometer two-piece set gives you an easy overview of indoor temperature and humidity in two rooms. If our indoor climate is as it should be, we'll feel comfortable and well within our own four walls, in the office or other favourite rooms. The indoor air can also impact our health. If indoor air remains too humid for too long, there's a risk of an uninvited and unwanted guest - mould. By contrast, excessively dry air, such as in overheated rooms, can quickly make us feel uncomfortable. That's why it pays to keep a close eye on the indoor climate with the BRESSER thermometer/hygrometer - for comfortable and healthy living and working!
The ideal indoor climate with a thermometer/hygrometer and a smile
The handy temperature and humidity gauges show precise values on the clearly structured display whenever you need them. Sometimes, all you want to know is when you need to ventilate your home. Which is why our measuring instruments are fitted with an indoor climate indicator. If the smiley gives you a smile, you know that everything's ok. Otherwise, it's time to ventilate the room. In addition, the screen also shows the current time. Summer time or winter time, when do the clocks need to change again?
