With the Classic 70/350, BRESSER has developed a light weight and compact refractor telescope, with good light gathering power for sky observing, landscape and wildlife viewing alike.
The telescope is very easy to set-up, easy to use and highly transportable. It is equally useful for nature enthusiasts, who are searching for a powerful telescope which offers a bright and sharp view, as it is for astronomers. It is ideal as a travel scope, due to its light weight and compact nature. The Classic 70/350 comes supplied with a 90° Erecting-prism (1.25"´/31,7mm) and shows an upright and corrected image. The supplied field tripod is a sturdy mount for the telescope. It is adjustable in height from 28-63inch (73-160cm) and makes the observation much more comfortable no matter what height the user is. A carry case for the tripod is also supplied.
The telescope is provided with three eyepieces, a 20mm, 12.5mm and 4mm, giving respective powers of 17.5x (ideal for finding targets), 28x ideal for more detailed nature study and wide field astronomical targets) and 87.5x (this is enough to resolve Saturn as a ringed object and reveal a wealth of detail on the Moon). As the telescope takes standard 1.25" gauge eyepieces, you can add to your eyepiece collection easily with eyepieces and other accessories (Barlow lenses etc.) from various manufacturers. The maximum practical magnification of this telescope as around the 130x mark - though views of brighter targets like the Moon could be pushed a little further.
The telescope is also supplied with a smartphone holder to take photos with your phone through the eyepieces - easily sharing the views you get with friends and family.

Warning notes
- Never look at the sun through an eyepiece/telescope without a certified protection filter. A moon filter can never be used for solar observation. The moon filter is only suitable for moon observation. The solar filter must be mounted in front of the telescope opening, not at the eyepiece. Otherwise, the concentrated light beam through the optics will immediately destroy the filter foil, leading to severe eye damage, including permanent blindness.
- Never leave the optics unattended. Children and inexperienced adults could point the telescope at the sun without proper precautions and lose their eyesight.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
- Suffocation risk! Improper use of this product poses a suffocation risk, especially for children. Therefore, be sure to follow the safety information below.

The ASTRO R-LITE red light flashlight is the ideal companion at night to read star charts or make adjustments to the equipment without losing the dark adaptation of the eyes. The ASTRO R-LITE offers 3 functions: Continuous light bright / Continuous light dark / Flashing. The large diffusing lens results in a very large and evenly illuminated light cone, which can also be adjusted by a sliding mechanism. By using a power-saving LED lamp, the battery life (1 x AA-LR6) is up to 100 hours. Of course, the robust lamp housing made of aluminium is splash-proof according to IPX4 and therefore particularly well suited for outdoor applications. The side cutouts on the front of the ASTRO R-LITE provide a 360° signal function. The 50 cm long carrying strap with quick coupling and an extra belt clip included in the scope of delivery ensure that the flashlight is always quickly at hand. With the usage of barlow lenses, you can extend the equivalent focal length of telescopes and hence increase the magnification of your observed targets. Subsequently, you can use lower power eyepieces in Barlows to act as much more powerful eyepieces, but retain the larger ocular size and more comfortable viewing that comes with lower power eyepiece designs.Due to their two lens design, these Barlow lenses provide a brilliant image quality for the whole visual field and are suitable for observations and photography. The black coloured Barlow element cell in this BRESSER Barlow Lens 2x 31.8mm/1.25," can be unscrewed and has the same thread as 1.25" filters, allowing it to be mounted in 1.25" eyepieces, t-adapters and other accessories, giving you flexibility of use and the ability to vary magnification in different accessories. For instance, the black Barlow cell screwed into the average length nosepiece of a standard push fit t-adapter will give around 1.6x magnification on an attached DSLR.
