How Temperature Measurement Helps Save Energy

Did you know? Lowering the room temperature by just 1 degree can save up to 6 percent of energy. It's worth paying close attention when heating. With the integrated thermometer in our weather stations and thermo-hygrometers, you can always keep an eye on the current room temperature – allowing you to adjust your heating habits to save energy. Has the temperature reached a level that's comfortable for you? Then the thermostat can be turned down a bit to maintain the room temperature and save money.

Setup and sharing weather data made easy – with the WSLink app Theweather station with a built-in rain and wind gauge is very easy to configure: with the WSLink app, you can set up the Wi-Fi connection, time server and weather data calibration in no time. If you want to share your weather data and access it remotely, you can connect the weather station to a weather platform: the WSLink app has links to the popular providers Weather Underground and Weathercloud. An additional platform – such as the German-language portal AWEKAS, can be added manually. The app allows you to connect to your preferred weather server quickly and easily. The new BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station with 7-in-1 sensor offers a very comprehensive range of weather data. The multifunctional outdoor sensor can easily be installed with the included mounting accessories! The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station. The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates. The base station from the 5-in-1 weather station – now also individually – for an overview of measured values in multiple rooms. A base station in the living room and one in the bedroom, giving you an ideal overview whichever room you’re in. The BRESSER base station works with the BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station 7002510 as well as many other BRESSER weather stations. (For compatibility, see below). The clearly structured display on the base station also displays a range of history data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by six graphical symbols. There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures from -3 °C. A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate. In addition, the BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station also offers radio-controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal).
