How Temperature Measurement Helps Save Energy
Did you know? Lowering the room temperature by just 1 degree can save up to 6 percent of energy. It's worth paying close attention when heating. With the integrated thermometer in our weather stations and thermo-hygrometers, you can always keep an eye on the current room temperature – allowing you to adjust your heating habits to save energy. Has the temperature reached a level that's comfortable for you? Then the thermostat can be turned down a bit to maintain the room temperature and save money.
Practical everyday helpers: Some models also offer a high-low temperature alarm that alerts you with a sound when your individually set temperatures are reached. If you have a 7-in-1 ClimateScout Weather Station, this additional base station allows you to access the full range of functions and weather data in an additional room. For example, by placing the additional base station in your bedroom, you can view the measurements from your outdoor sensor and decide what to wear for the day based on the weather conditions. The original base station can then be kept in your living room to give everyone in your household an overview of the outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV and light intensity. With this additional base station, you can see what the weather is doing from both rooms! The base station also has a sleek, elegant design that was designed specially for BRESSER and fits in with all interior styles.

Happy or sad smiley, with or without drops: Thanks to the graphical indoor climate indicator, you can quickly ascertain the current comfort level and take appropriate action to improve your indoor climate. There is also a weather alarm, which allows you to set your desired maximum and minimum weather values independently of your other base station. Your additional base station will inform you when the temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and other values reach your preset limits.
Radio-controlled clock
In addition to a modern design, the weather console also features a radio controlled clock that syncs the time via a DCF signal and automatically switches between winter and summer time. If you need an early start, the base station also has a built-in alarm. If you need a few extra minutes in bed, simply press the snooze button to silence the alarm for 5 minutes. During the winter, you can enable the frost alarm, which makes the alarm go off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C. The intuitive display also shows The day of the week, date and phases of the moon at the top of the screen.
