The base station from the 5-in-1 weather station – now also individually – for an overview of measured values in multiple rooms. A base station in the living room and one in the bedroom, giving you an ideal overview whichever room you’re in. The BRESSER base station works with the BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station 7002510 as well as many other BRESSER weather stations. (For compatibility, see below). The clearly structured display on the base station also displays a range of history data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by six graphical symbols. There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures from -3 °C. A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate. In addition, the BRESSER 5-in-1 weather station also offers radio-controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). The current central European time (CET) and date with day will be displayed within a few minutes of the device being switched on. For the moonstruck, the display also indicates the various phases of the moon. A wake function with snooze function is also included. The Wi-Fi weather station for more than just the here and now The weather station shows a wide range of readings, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV level and light intensity. But what about weather trends? After all, you can only decide whether the garden hose needs to be rolled out again if you know the amount of rain that has fallen in the past few hours. The detailed display adds a wealth of measurements to the start screen, such as the amount of rain during the last hour, 24 hours and the last month.However, when it comes to your local weather history, the weather station can do much more: You can also check the daily max. and min. values on the display, either in a table or a graph. If this isn't detailed enough, you can use the data log function, which records measurements at intervals of 5, 10 or 30 minutes. Perfect for hobby meteorologists who want to immerse themselves in data on the display or on their own computer! View your weather data in more rooms with additional sensors The weather station comes with a 7-in-1 sensor and a thermo/hygro outdoor sensor. However, sometimes two wireless sensors are just not enough. Do you ever struggle with mildew in your kitchen or bathroom? Have you ever turned up the heating in winter, only to discover that the air literally dries out? Regardless of the answer, it's always worth keeping an eye on the indoor climate in different rooms. If you have an outdoor pool, you can use a pool thermometer (not included) to check that the water is at an optimal temperature. For all this and more, you can connect up to 6 optional additional sensors to the base station of the Wi-Fi weather station. Just look in the Accessories tab to view a list of compatible devices. Once you've connected all the wireless sensors, the measurements are shown side by side on an intuitive start screen, which allows you to read and compare the temperature and humidity readings and trends for your kitchen, bedroom, or other rooms. You can also check the soil moisture and temperature with an optional soil sensor (not included). In addition, you can give each sensor a name to ensure that you keep track of the different locations. Smart technology In today's world, everything is networked. The weather station also has a number of connectivity functions to allow you to stay on top of the weather. You can register your new weather station with our partner, the German weather platform AWEKAS, free of charge. The weather station also supports the popular international platforms ProWeatherLive, Weather Underground and Weathercloud. You can also connect your weather station to your other favourite sites. This allows you to access the local measurement data from your Wi-Fi weather station from anywhere in the world. Particulate matter: invisible yet always present. In large amounts, these small particles in the air can be harmful to our respiratory system. With the BRESSER PM 2.5 / PM 10 particulate meter, you can take control of monitoring the air quality. The European limits and WHO recommendations for air quality are regularly exceeded, especially in big cities. Heavy traffic, industry and agriculture significantly increase the concentration of particulate matter. To let you know when the air quality is poor, the particulate meter's wireless sensor takes precise measurements of two types of particulate matter that can be harmful to your health: Particles with a diameter of less than 10 μm (PM10) and less than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The excellent sensor made by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sensirion guarantees very precise measurement results. Thus, the particulate meter is also the perfect source of information for people with allergies in order to keep an eye on the pollen count. And you don't need to be an expert in order to determine whether the readings are within a healthy range: The air quality index shows you in 6 colour-coded levels whether the air is clean. Historical air quality data The damage that air pollution does to our health doesn't happen overnight. The particulate matter meter therefore records a range of historical readings, including the maximum readings from the past hour and 24 hours, and the overall historical maximum, to give you better idea of trends in the air quality. To view the current reading - regardless of the measurement interval settings - simply press the button on the sensor. The device also features a high alarm function: simply configure your desired limit for particulate matter and the alarm will sound when the limit is reached. If you normally measure the air quality indoors, but want to know whether the air is clean before you spend a sunny day in the garden, you can use the wireless sensor. The wireless sensor can also be used individually and shows you the particulate matter readings on the built-in display. Armed with this sensor, you can measure particulate matter both indoors and outdoors. Also ideal for travelling!
