Monitor your indoor climate with an additional ClimateScout base station
In addition to the data from your outdoor sensors (not included), the additional base station also shows you indoor measurements. Is mould likely to develop in your bathroom? Is the air in your baby's bedroom too dry? Simply place the additional station in the corresponding location and the built-in sensor will show you the indoor temperature (°C/°F), humidity and air pressure. Happy or sad smiley, with or without drops: Thanks to the graphical indoor climate indicator, you can quickly ascertain the current comfort level and take appropriate action to improve your indoor climate. There is also a weather alarm, which allows you to set your desired maximum and minimum weather values independently of your other base station. Your additional base station will inform you when the temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and other values reach your preset limits.
Radio-controlled clock
In addition to a modern design, the weather console also features a radio controlled clock that syncs the time via a DCF signal and automatically switches between winter and summer time. If you need an early start, the base station also has a built-in alarm. If you need a few extra minutes in bed, simply press the snooze button to silence the alarm for 5 minutes. During the winter, you can enable the frost alarm, which makes the alarm go off 30 minutes earlier when the outdoor temperature drops below -3 °C. A base station in the living room and one in the bedroom, giving you an ideal overview whichever room you’re in.
The BRESSER base station works with the BRESSER 5-in-1 Weather Station (item number: 7002550CM3000) as well as many other BRESSER weather station. (For compatibility, see below).
The clearly structured display on the base station also displays a range of historical data. It enables internal storage and evaluation of the measured data over a 24-hour period. Using the measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, which is indicated on the display by six graphical symbols. There is a programmable alarm function for maximum and minimum values, which can emit an acoustic alarm and light signal if either value is reached. A special frost/ice warning alarm can also be configured for outdoor temperatures from -3 °C.
A poor indoor climate can pose a particular health risk for children and the elderly. The BRESSER 5-in-1 Weather Station offers a smart feature to help tackle this. The indoor climate indicator uses symbols to visualise the current status of the indoor climate. In addition, the BRESSER 5-in-1 Weather Station also offers radio-controlled time and date setting (DCF time signal). The current central European time (CET) and date with day will be displayed within a few minutes of the device being switched on. For the moonstruck, the display also indicates the various phases of the moon. A wake function with snooze function is also included.

Additional base station – more space for your weather data
In addition to displaying data, the additional base station can also take its own measurements of the ambient indoor conditions. Thanks to the built-in sensor, it can measure the indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure for your current location. It also features a comfort indicator for the indoor climate. When a smiley face is displayed, no action is needed. Otherwise, you’ll need to monitor the conditions or take action to prevent mildew or dry air.
Of course, the additional base station also displays all important data on the sun, wind and other weather conditions that you’re used to seeing from your solar weather station. For example, measurements such as the perceived temperature, sunburn time in minutes and the Beaufort index can help you to choose the right clothes before heading out for the day. There is also a maximum/minimum memory to give an overview of the recent weather conditions.
Perfect timing from morning till night
The base station is ideal for bedrooms – thanks to the built-in alarm with snooze function, you’re guaranteed to wake up on time. There’s also a practical function for cold winter days: if you enable the frost alarm, the alarm goes off 30 minutes earlier when the temperature drops below -3 °C, giving you plenty of time to get to work or school safely. In addition, the time, date and day of the week are synced automatically via the Internet and displayed on the screen. If you enjoy observing the moon, you will also find the current moon phase displayed as a graphic at the top of the screen. The additional base station also displays the sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset times.

The BRESSER lightning detector keeps you informed during stormy weather. It displays a light signal when it detects a lightning strike within a range of approximately 40 kilometres. To get the most out of the lightning detector, you can connect it to your BRESSER weather centre: from there, you can view the time since the last lightning strike, including the estimated distance, as well as the number of lightning strikes per hour. And to ensure that the lightning sensor is configured to your surroundings, you can choose from 3 different sensor sensitivity levels.
