FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited
Product information "BRESSER 5-in-1 Comfort Weather Station with Colour Display"
The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!
The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.

The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols on the display. Eco-friendly weather station with solar-powered sensor, ideal for amateur meteorologists
The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which is powered by solar energy and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.
Wi-Fi weather station with feature-packed base station
The base station of the 6-day 4CAST PRO SF weather station features a stylish design and displays the data received from the solar-powered sensor. It also takes its own readings via the built-in thermo/hygro sensor, which measures the ambient indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Together with the maximum/minimum memory, this enables you to keep an eye on the indoor climate and effectively prevent mildew and excessively dry air.
