FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited
Product information "BRESSER 5-in-1 Comfort Weather Station with Colour Display"
The new BRESSER Weather Station 5-in-1 combines in a unique way a compact design with an extensive information service. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!
The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data. The latter allows the internal storage and evaluation of measured data over a period of 24 hours. From the collected measured data, the weather station calculates a very reliable local weather trend forecast for the next 12 hours, depicted by six graphic symbols on the display. For minimum and maximum values an individual alarm can be programmed, which gives an acoustic and a light signal when the defined value is reached. For outside temperatures of -3 °C and below a special alarm for frost/ice warning can additionally be activated.

Simply have a quick look at the intuitive LCD display to keep an eye on the CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity. You don't need to worry about remembering what constitutes a critical carbon dioxide level - the intuitive graphical display with a linear scale and smiley face will show you the quality of the air in your surroundings. The measurements are precise, with high resolution and fast. Ventilation alarmThe practical carbon dioxide alarm reminds you when you need to let in some fresh air. If the default setting is different to your ideal indoor climate, you can configure your own limit up to a maximum of 5000 ppm. The alarm function can then be activated with a simple button press. If the preset limit is exceeded, the alarm will sound at a varying intensity depending on the CO2 concentration. The display will also show a flashing arrow symbol to remind you to open the windows. Humidity is also an important factor, as high humidity levels can cause mould to form. You can also set your own visual alarm for this reading so that you will know whether the air in the room is too dry or too moist. If you want to see more than just the current readings, there is also a practical memory function that displays the maximum and minimum values for the last 24 hours as well as the average values from the last 15 minutes and 8 hours for carbon dioxide concentration, temperature and humidity. The very compact and multifunctional outdoor sensor requires only little space and thus can be placed almost anywhere. A pipe clamp and screws for the attachment at poles (pipe diameter of about 25-33 mm) as well as a stand are already included!The 5-in-1 outdoor sensor transfers reliably all measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature and precipitation rate to the base station. On the clearly structured display of the base station not only these values can be read but also a multitude of history data.
