FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

This could be formaldehyde (HCHO) or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), which can enter our ambient air through things like furniture, materials, tobacco smoke, paints or adhesives. The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station.
The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people. The BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station offers a smart feature for this. The indoor climate indicator informs about current indoor climate conditions by means of the room climate indicator.

Through the LCD display contrast setting, you succeed in reading the time, the day of the week, the phases of the moon, the sunrise as well as the sunset, on the 7.4" color display from almost any viewing angle. The 7-in-1 professional outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation amount, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station. Through the internal storage and analysis of the measurement data, a reliable local weather trend forecast for the coming 12 hours is displayed using graphical symbols. The weather station displays a 6-day weather forecast with maximum/minimum temperature readings, and also tells you the chance of rain. It also features a 10-inch display, which ensures that all the weather stats are easy to read. The modern Wi-Fi weather station with a solar-powered sensor obtains the forecast data via the Internet from the ProWeatherLive platform. In addition to the weather forecast, the weather station also displays the local visibility and cloud cover.
Eco-friendly weather station with solar-powered sensor, ideal for amateur meteorologists
The weather station comes with a solar-powered outdoor sensor, which is powered by solar energy and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, UV level and light intensity. Simply align the large solar panel with the sun according to your location. The measuring device needs about 4 hours of direct sunlight (100,000 lux) a day. There isn’t much sun around? Simply insert 3 AA batteries (not included) as a back-up during installation, and they will take care of the power supply. All the measurements will appear on the screen of the base station, which can be located up to 150 metres away.

The base station of the 6-day 4CAST PRO SF weather station features a stylish design and displays the data received from the solar-powered sensor. It also takes its own readings via the built-in thermo/hygro sensor, which measures the ambient indoor temperature, humidity and air pressure. Together with the maximum/minimum memory, this enables you to keep an eye on the indoor climate and effectively prevent mildew and excessively dry air. Outdoor temperature, precipitation and more – you can also view the maximum/minimum readings for the other measurements made by the solar-powered sensor.
Share weather data and use it with your smart home
Access the measurements from your solar-powered sensor remotely and share them with others: with a few clicks, you can send your weather station data to the ProWeatherLive platform.
