FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The symbol flashes when the air pressure drops sharply within a short period of time. This indicates that a storm or strong winds are very likely approaching. As soon as the air pressure stabilizes, the flashing will stop automatically – it therefore serves as a storm warning.
Please proceed as follows:
Tips:
- Remove all batteries from the base station and the outdoor sensor.
- Wait at least 3–10 minutes.
- Insert the batteries into the base station.
- Once the indoor temperature is displayed, insert the batteries into the outdoor sensor.
The signal should now be detected and the outdoor temperature displayed.
Tips:
- If problems occur, replace all batteries with fresh, non-rechargeable brand batteries. Different battery types or charge levels may cause interference.
- Do not place the base station near other electronic devices (this may interfere with reception).
- If necessary, choose a different location for the base station.
If pressing the “DCF” button on the back does not help, reset the station:
- Briefly press the reset button on the back with a pen
- If necessary, place the station closer to a window, as reception inside buildings may be limited

The wind gauge from BRESSER is a professional anemometer for your home garden. You can read the current wind speed from the base station as well as average and maximum values per hour, day, month or year can also be displayed. A wind speed alarm can also be set.
The 3-in-1 outdoor sensor determines not only wind speed but also outdoor temperature and humidity. The determined values are transmitted to the base station by radio over a maximum range of 150 m.

Have you ever looked at the thermometer and wondered why you feel so cold or sweaty? There's a simple explanation: The perceived temperature is also affected by the wind and the humidity. This Wi-Fi weather station determines the perceived ('feels like') temperature using the measured readings. When the sun is shining, it's easy to forget about the risk of sunburn. The weather station displays the sunburn time in minutes so that you know how long you can sunbathe for safely. It also displays the current wind speed using the Beaufort scale. In addition to a weather forecast and current readings, you can also keep track of recent trends by saving the maximum and minimum values from a certain point in time. Alternatively, you can display the daily max/min values with a simple button press. As well keeping track of the outdoor conditions, you can also view the indoor humidity and temperature to ensure that you maintain an optimal indoor climate. The new BRESSER WIFI ClearView Weather Station with 7-in-1 sensor offers a very comprehensive range of weather data. The multifunctional outdoor sensor can easily be installed with the included mounting accessories!
The outdoor sensor reliably transmits measured values for wind speed, wind direction, humidity, temperature, precipitation, as well as UV level and light intensity via 868 MHz frequency to the base station.
The base station shows a large variety of current and historical local weather data on its 8.3'' TRUE BLACK colour display. The latter allows internal storage and evaluation of the measurement data over a period of 24 hours. A very reliable forecast for the upcoming 12h is calculated by your local weather data which will be displayed on the base station. The WIFI function allows users to share their local data via apps such as 'Weather Underground'' or ''Weather Cloud''. In addition, the WIFI function enables Internet Time Synchronization and firmware updates.
An alarm can be individually programmed for maximum and minimum values, which triggers both an acoustic and a light alarm signal when the specified value is reached. For outside temperatures from -3°C, a special alarm can also be activated for frost/ice warnings. A poor indoor climate often poses health risks, especially for children and elderly people.
