Why do I see everything upside down and mirrored in the finder?

That is normal. Finder scopes are only used to make objects easy to locate. The image orientation does not matter for observation.

The A80Mf refractor is an ideal entry-level model for beginner astronomers who value high-quality optics. Thanks to Vixen's quality controls, the 80 mm lenses are produced to an outstanding quality standard. The refractor comes with two Plössl eyepieces (6.3 mm and 20 mm) and a 90° star diagonal.
The A80Mf is ideal for exploring the moon and the brighter planets.
On moonless nights you can observe the Andromeda Galaxy or the Orion Nebula.

The AP mount provides a secure, stable support for your telescope.

Polar alignment is achieved using 3 reference stars. The polar finder is illuminated to facilitate orientation and switches off automatically after 3 minutes to save battery power.

STAR BOOK ONE CONTROLLER

The STAR BOOK ONE is a multifunctional and intuitive controller that tracks in the RA axis with a range of different speeds. The tracking options are designed for time lapse cameras at a wide range of speeds, including sidereal, lunar and solar rates. The controller also offers many useful functions such as backlash compensation, autoguider port, PEC and a built-in red LED light. The STAR BOOK ONE controller is designed for the AP-SM mount and is an integral part of the RA motor module.

Power supply system for maximum mobility and comfort
The motor module is powered by 4 standard AA batteries (alkaline batteries, not included). Rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH, Ni-Cd) can also be used. For extended periods of use, a external power supply (e.g. USB mobile battery or USB power adapter) can be connected to the USB Micro-B socket.

APP-TL130 tripod

The compact APP-TL130 tripod is adjustable between 60 cm and 130 cm and combines the portability of a camera tripod with the strength of an astronomical telescope tripod. The tripod can be switched between rubber and metal spikes to prevent floor damage in indoor spaces.

Vixen Wifi Adapter for EQ Mounts

The Vixen Wifi adapter for EQ mounts allows you to control your Vixen mount via a smartphone or tablet. With the smartphone app STAR BOOK Wireless (free of charge) you can perform celestial navigation without any wiring. The app turns your smartphone or tablet into a controller for the equatorial mount in no time. The response delay of the mount, which is considered the biggest disadvantage of wireless connections, has been reduced to a level comparable to wired ones. Reduced power consumption compared to conventional controllers with LCD monitor The power consumption of the mount is reduced by up to 20%, allowing longer observations than with conventional wired controllers such as the STAR BOOK TEN.
