Crystal-clear images with premium quality optics
Unlike the standard BK-7, the optics are made from BaK-4 glass (barium crown glass) that produces even sharper and brighter images. The high-quality BaK-4 glass optics are used in all ALPEN Optics products sold in Europe.
More light for clearer images
The optics are fully coated with a premium multi-layer coating, which increases the light transmission to up to 95% to produce stunningly bright images.
Weatherproof design
The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, which prevents the inside of the lenses from fogging up and obstructing your view during abrupt changes in temperature.
Watertight design
Thanks to the waterproof housing that prevents liquids from reaching the inside of the optics, you don’t need to worry about heavy rain or dropping the binoculars in a puddle.
Easily adjustable for glasses wearers
Thanks to the twist-up eyecups, the design is also suitable for people who wear glasses. The distance between your eyes and the lenses can be easily adjusted to allow you to see the complete field of view.
Fine tune to your vision
The built-in dioptre adjustment allows you to quickly adjust the optics to your vision and compensate for differences between your left and right eyes.
Tripod connection thread
Thanks to the tripod connection thread, the optics can be quickly mounted on a tripod so that you can enjoy shake-free images of animals or nature.

Nitrogen filling
The temperature can change rapidly when you’re out in the wild. To prevent the lenses from fogging up on the inside and obstructing your view, the optics are filled with nitrogen.

As with the premium allround binoculars of the BRESSER Pirsch series the Pirsch ED Series they are suitable for many situations, whether on vacation, travelling or hiking.
Our Pirsch ED binoculars are equipped with the latest phase coating and allow the image to be more contrasting and high-resolution. In addition, these binoculars are equipped with the high-performance ED glass, which makes the colors even more radiant and the picture still more colorful. Color fringes are prevented by the special high-performance ED glass, reinforced by the high-quality fully multi coating. The combination of the built-in Barium-Kron glass material and the Dielectric coating on the prisms makes the picture even brighter and clearer, even at twilight. They have TwistUp eyecups to enable spectacle wearers to also enjoy the full field of view, adjustable in 2 steps they also support the view without glasses. The full rubber armouring, provides a good grip when handling. All Pirsch ED models are equipped with a wide, very comfortable carrying strap. To complete the package, these models are all purged with high-quality ARGON gas, to further protect the binoculars from fogging . The Pirsch ED models are protected against fog and water entry.
