The BRESSER USB Digital Microscope DST-1028 5MP enables easy and convenient observation of your specimen on the computer with detailed images. The digital handheld microscope is especially suitable for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components, but also plants, insects and much more. In addition to applications in school and hobby, the digital microscope is also suitable for tasks in quality assurance.
The device features high-quality optics with continuous zoom. This enables documentation of the specimen between 10x and 280x magnifications. Depending on the object to be examined, the appropriate magnification can always be selected. With its ring light, the digital incident light microscope ensures optimal illumination and high-contrast images of your specimen. The ring light consists of eight LEDs. The brightness can be conveniently controlled with the dimmer, which is integrated in the USB connection cable.
The microscope has a stable, adaptable metal stand, which can be adjusted in height depending on the object height and magnification used. This makes it possible to examine both larger and very flat objects (e.g. printing documents).
At low magnifications, the working distance is 110 mm, so that working with tools, e.g. for preparation, is possible underneath.

A digital microscope easily brings the microcosmos up on the screen. For a long time, these instruments were common only in the beginner's range. Now, the successful and proven Researcher series makes the step into the digital microscopy world and offers new options for microscopy in schools, for hobby or work. The optics and mechanics is the same as already well estabished in the Researcher Bino and Researcher Trino microscopes. Incuding 4 DIN objectives, Abbe condenser, coaxial fine focus and crosstable, the Researcher LCD is suitable for use in the microscopy hobby as well as in teaching or other work related applications. The highest magnification when using the 60x objective (compares to 600x on non digital microscopes) is high enough to view small microorganisms as microalgae, flagellates and bacteria. Other magnifications (20x, 100x oil) can be added later. The Researcher LCD is also compatible with our plan-achromatic objectives designed for 160mm optical tube length.The integrated, modern Sony camerasensor IMX206 with 16MP gives a brilliant image with good contrast on the monitor. The user can change settings and capture images and video conveniently with the touch screen. Images with 16MP and Full HD video can be stored directly on SD card (SD card not supplied). Uses
The BRESSER digital microscope is perfect as a workshop microscope, such as for examining material samples, circuit boards and electronic components. It’s also useful for measurements, quality control of surfaces or testing of raw materials with the large field of vision and the right magnification through the high-quality zoom lens. The measuring microscope also allows for biological examination of plants and insects in detail on the high-resolution, movable 17.8 cm (7”’) colour LCD screen. The perfect tools for the job – such as for identifying plant diseases and pests in horticulture and agriculture. The powerful lens offer amazing insights into the microcosm, including in school and amateur use.
With the enclosed 100 mm extension for the tripod, you can also examine workpieces located at height, or benefit from the large field of vision up to max. 34 x 70 mm and a working distance of up to 195 mm.
Illumination
In order to illuminate the objects that you are examining evenly, without shadows, the reflected-light microscope has 3 light sources: 1 ring light with 6 LEDs and 2 gooseneck LED spotlights. The brightness of the lights can be easily controlled via the LED touch bar.
Recording function
Extensive analyses easily and efficiently: With the integrated camera, you can document your examinations in photo and video format. Using the remote control can also help to prevent camera shake. With the click of the mouse, the recordings can then be saved to a Micro SD card (up to 64 GB, not included) via the on-screen menu. No need for a PC or other external device for your work.
As the zoom can be focused to infinity, the digital microscope can also be used as a webcam. If required, you can easily attach the lens, including the screen, to a standard tripod using the integrated tripod connection thread.

According to its purpose, the MTL 201 features a very large stage (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be moved roughly with a handle and finely with cross and longitudinal drives. For perfect focusing, coarse and fine focus (coaxial; approx. 70 µm/revolution) are available. The reflected light illumination is provided by a halogen bulb (20 W) with adjustable light intensity through the objective. A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small BRESSER monitor can be mounted directly on the camera (see Art. No. 5914120).
The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready to use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image always has a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and is delay-free. This is particularly advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, e.g. in quality control or production.
The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be controlled.
*To perform measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g. Art. No.: 5916710 or 5916720).
The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.

It is suitable for use in medicine, agriculture and forestry, forensics, scientific research institutes and schools, as well as for assembly and inspection of small components in precision mechanics and electronics.
The particularly wide base with object table and the exceptionally large height adjustment range allow observation of larger objects. The instrument features LED reflected and transmitted illumination, which can be used individually or combined and each dimmed steplessly. The reflected light incidence angle is especially user-friendly adjustable and lockable. With interchangeable widefield eyepieces (WF10x) and a 6.25x stereo zoom objective (0.8x-5x), a continuous magnification range from 8x to 50x is realised. The click-stop zoom locks at predefined positions, so magnifications can be exactly reproduced, e.g., for measurements at the microscope. The eyepieces have a field number of 22, allowing a visible field of view between 4.5 and 27.5 mm.
The eye distance and dioptre adjustment are individually adjustable. The trinocular microscope head can be rotated 360° and features two eyepiece tubes inclined at 45° as well as a separate, parfocally adjustable camera tube for connecting a C-mount camera, or MikroCam, up to a 1/2" sensor size.

A PC or laptop is not required to operate the camera; you can simply connect the MikroCam MINI Full HD HDMI to an existing monitor, TV, projector or smartboard. This makes it ideal for use in teaching. Alternatively, a small BRESSER monitor can be mounted directly on the camera (see item no. 5914120).
The HDMI connection is easy to make and the camera is ready for use immediately. No software installation, PC setup, etc. is necessary. Thanks to the lossless data transmission, very good image quality is achieved and the image is always displayed with a consistently high frame rate of 60 fps and without delay. This is especially advantageous when a microscope workstation is to be digitised, e.g., in quality control or production.
The supplied USB mouse is connected for control. This allows the three menus (camera settings, measurement* and display) to be controlled.
*To perform measurements with the camera, a calibration slide is required (e.g., item no.: 5916710 or 5916720).
The camera is also very suitable for presentations, as it operates in automatic mode when the mouse is not connected. The menus and mouse pointer are then not visible.
Please note that a direct PC connection is not possible. An HDMI to USB video capture device is required for this. The USB port is only for controlling the camera with the mouse.

Objects appear three-dimensional and lifelike through the Greenough design with two inclined objectives. The 3D image also makes working with tools (e.g. preparing, dissecting, soldering) much easier.The zoom allows stepless adjustment of magnification with a zoom factor of 4.0 (1x-4x). Only minimal refocusing is needed when zooming. For this, the Advance ICD has a coaxial focusing drive with coarse and fine adjustment. This allows particularly sensitive focusing at high magnifications or for photography. The fine focus is also a great aid for focus stacking, e.g. with our MikroCam cameras (optional).The interpupillary distance is individually adjustable. Both eyepiece holders have a dioptre adjustment, allowing differences in visual acuity of up to approx. 8 dpt between the left and right eye to be compensated.
