Product information "BRESSER Researcher LCD Microscope"
A digital microscope easily brings the microcosmos up on the screen. For a long time, these instruments were common only in the beginner's range. Now, the successful and proven Researcher series makes the step into the digital microscopy world and offers new options for microscopy in schools, for hobby or work. The optics and mechanics is the same as already well estabished in the Researcher Bino and Researcher Trino microscopes. Incuding 4 DIN objectives, Abbe condenser, coaxial fine focus and crosstable, the Researcher LCD is suitable for use in the microscopy hobby as well as in teaching or other work related applications. The highest magnification when using the 60x objective (compares to 600x on non digital microscopes) is high enough to view small microorganisms as microalgae, flagellates and bacteria. Other magnifications (20x, 100x oil) can be added later. The Researcher LCD is also compatible with our plan-achromatic objectives designed for 160mm optical tube length.

The integrated, modern Sony camerasensor IMX206 with 16MP gives a brilliant image with good contrast on the monitor. The user can change settings and capture images and video conveniently with the touch screen. Images with 16MP and Full HD video can be stored directly on SD card (SD card not supplied). The microscope also has a HDMI connection, so the image is easily shown on a big monitor, TV, beamer or smartboard. The results can be shared with a bigger audience in lectures or teaching.

BRESSER Set Microscope Slides
Slides and cover glasses are an indispensable accessory which has also impact on the image quality. For most biological microscopes, the cover glass thickness is an important optical parameter, which is therefore included in the optical design and, if so, printed on the sleeve of every objective. You can usually see the number 0.17 which is the thickness in millimeters. For demanding applications in the laboratory, or for microphotography, using cover glasses with the desired thickness and high quality is necessary. The cover glasses included in the set are made of Boro 3.3 glass and are standardized to a thickness of 0.16-0.19mm. So they match the desired 0.17mm really good and give the best possible image quality. These Boro 3.3 cover glasses are pure white, without streaks and are pre-cleaned and ready to use. They are also especially suitable for fluorescence microscopy. The slides are made of soda lime glass, and have ground edges for safe handling. They have a matte field for writing on both sides (top and bottom). Slides and cover glasses are packed separately and in a vacuum sealed bag, containing moisture absorbent. They can be stored for a long time without loss of quality from hydrolysis and are easy to take out.

BRESSER Advance ICD 10x-160x Zoom Stereo Microscope
The zoom stereo microscope BRESSER Advance ICD is suitable for a wide variety of objects. Because of the Greenough design with two tilted objectives, you can view the sample in 3D. The three-dimensional view is also very helpful when working under the microscope, e.g. when soldering, dissecting or preparing a sample. The precise zoom enables you to view your sample in a wide range of magnifications from 1x to 4x (zoom ratio 4.0). When zooming, only slight refocussing is necessary. To do this, the Advance ICD microscope is equipped with a very precise, coaxial coarse and fine focus. The fine focus is especially helpful when using high magnifications or for imaging. When doing focus stacking with our MikroCam cameras (optional) the fine focus is also a big help. The interpupillary distance of the eyepiece pair is adjustable. Both eyepiece holders are equipped with diopter adjustment, which allows users with bad eyesight to compensate up to 8 dpt. difference between left and right eye. The 10x wide field eyepieces have field number (FN) 22 and are equipped with soft rubber eyecups. The microscope head can be moved on the long rod of the stand, which allows you to observe big samples up to a size of 22 cm.The angle of the bright LED reflected light illumination can be adjusted as necessary. The extra bright and even LED transmitted light provides a flat background when viewing transparent samples. The switch allows you to select reflected light, transmitted light or a combination of both to match your requirements. Brightness is adjustable with the dimmer. The bright light does not heat up, which allows you to observe also living specimens over a longer period of time. The long lasting LED is powered by a 5V AC adapter (EU/UK). The power cable comes with a USB plug.Fully equipped, the Advance ICD covers an exceptionally wide range of magnifications and is therefore suitable for a variety of tasks. Besides the included 2x lens there is also a selection of other auxiliary objectives available.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC OPTOLONG 1.25'' L-eNhance Deep-Sky Light Pollution Filter
L-eNhance Filter for deep sky nebula photography from the cityThe relentless spread or urbanization and its associated light pollution have become a growing problem for all amateur astro photographers. The current solutions to the problem can be expensive and might include the purchase of a monochrome camera, several types of narrowband filters and a filter wheel. Especially with inexpensive newtonian telescopes, double-lens ED refractors or even achromats, the L-eNhance filters open up completely new possibilities for the capture of high-class astronomical images even out of the light polluted city. CMOS cameras can deliver images like monochrome cameras. This new generation of filters makes it possible to take amazing astrophotos directly from the light-polluted city with all its artificial light sources. The narrow bandpass for the wavelengths of O-III, H-Beta and H-Alpha and the almost complete attenuation of the interfering light sources of these new filters make this an ideal solution. L-eNhance Description  L-eNhance provides an economical and practical solution for amateurs. It is a tri-band pass filter which has been designed for DSLR (digital SLR), color CMOS and monochrome CCD cameras. The convenience and cost-effectiveness of this filter allows amateurs to take a rich selection of astronomical images, even in bright, heavily light-polluted areas. We believe the design of our L-eNhance filter is a technical innovation among filters. It effectively isolates the H-Alpha, H-Beta, and Oxygen III nebula emission lines and achieves a maximum transmission of up to 90%. The performance of this filter delivers images that superbly control the impact from light polluted skies.  Main Use and PerformanceThis new generation of filters makes it possible to take amazing astrophotos directly from the light-polluted city with all its artificial light sources. The narrow bandpass for the wavelengths of O-III, H-Beta and H-Alpha and the almost complete attenuation of the interfering light sources do not require very large or extremely expensive telescopes. No, especially with inexpensive newtonian telescopes, double-lens ED refractors or even achromats, these filters open up completely new possibilities for high-class astronomical images. Furthermore, with the help of these filters, CMOS colour cameras can deliver an image quality that comes close to CCD monochrome cameras. WARNING: These nebula filters are not designed for sun observation. DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITH THIS FILTER. You will go BLIND if you ignore this warning. Coating technology L-eNhance has a multiple anti-reflective coating on the optical substrate. The L-eNhance filter uses a precision coating based on ion deposition coating technology. This ensures durability and scratch resistance as well as stability on the CWL (central wavelength), which is not affected by temperature changes. Absolute precision and homogeneity of the coatings as well as maximum values for transmission in the passband and optical density in the off-band range are guaranteed for all filters. FEATURES Professional photographic filter for astronomy Improves deep sky emission nebula photography Best choice for enhanced light pollution suppression For taking pictures also from highly light polluted areas Tri-band filter with high transmission for O-III, H-Beta and H-Alpha linesDoes not require very large or extremely expensive telescopesExcellent results also with inexpensive newtonian telescopes, double-lens ED refractors or even achromatsCMOS colour cameras can deliver an image quality that comes close to CCD monochrome cameras Balanced colour for a natural image Filter diameter: 1.25 inch / 31.7mm Connecting thread: M28,5 x 0,6mm (Eyepiece thread 1.25 inch)Selected optical glass material Spectrum: 300-1000nm Off-Band Blocking: > 99% Surface Quality: 60/40 (Refer to MIL-O-13830) Fine-optically polished to ensure accurate 1/4 wavefront and highest parallelism over the both surfacesHigh transmission at major nebula emission lines (i.e. H-alpha 656nm, OIII 496nm&500nm and H-beta 486nm). BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1'' Microscope Camera
The BRESSER MikroCam II 20 MP 1’’ microscope camera is the professional solution when it comes to microscope imaging. This camera has a big 1’’ sensor (image area 13.6 x 8.8 mm); this is the biggest sensor of the MikroCam camera range. With this camera it is possible to document roughly the same field of view as it can be seen through the eyepiece (e.g. when using a 10x / 22mm). Other models will cover only 50% or less of the eyepiece field of view. The Sony IMX183 CMOS-sensor is very sensitive and has extremely low image noise, which makes this camera especially suitable for contrast methods like dark field or phase contrast. The MikroCam Lab II software comes with a wide range of professional functions, e.g. measurements in live view (calibration slide needed), mosaic, Focus-Stacking (for improved depth of field). All automatic functions (exposure time, gain, white balance etc) can be adjusted manually as well. Due to the big sensor size the camera will not work with all microscope models. It might be possible that the optics will not illuminate the full sensor, so you experience vignetting. Usually this can be resolved by using the optional 1x optical adapter (item no. 5914001). Please note that this camera model is not suitable for the stereo microscope BRESSER Science ETD-201. It will cover only a small field of view.
